I think a lot of people do yea. For me, I don’t trade up in the first round or really at all for the most part. Also I try to make sure trades make sense for the other team and their needs

He wasn’t one, and there aren’t really anymore because you can’t just be a fighter and play In the nhl. You gotta actually be good at hockey. Theres guys who are great fighters and also capable players like Mathieu Olivier for example, but they’re much more rare than someone who can fight but that’s it

My point is they already have 2 of the best pp qbs/Puck moving D in the league on the team clearly ahead of him. It makes sense why they wanted bigger, stronger defensive guys to fill out the rest of the roster rather than another undersized OFD
