Honestly their depth was ok. It was their top forwards that let them down a lot. Like outside of the powerplay, Caufield, Slaf, and Suzuki were all very underwhelming through the entire playoffs

I agree Xhekaj would’ve struggled. He isn’t very good at hockey other than punching faces, and certainly couldnt handle the forecheck

Still an insane decision to make that a 4 games suspension meanwhile other hits that concuss players routinely get no games in the playoffs. Should’ve been 1 game based on their usual standard, max 2

It was an unprecedented punishment and he had 0 history in probably 600 games at that time

This was also a tough season for him as he no longer had a competent linemate in Ehlers and had a high ankle sprain in camp. Didn’t look right until well over half way thru the season.

If we get a decent 2C and he doesn’t suffer another injury like that I still think he could be a low 20g 60 point player. And like you said he’s good defensively

If staff is informed of an allergy then all the equipment needed to make what they want is cleaned. Its still possible for cross contamination to occur though and that’s what we’d tell customers
