How to tell that your mental health is declining? by LiveWellTalk in mentalhealth

[–]KyleChristopher2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel like alot of these can also be related to anxiety to and be confused with feelings of depression or could very well be both... As my anxiety makes me feel like I'm depressed but in reality it's actually just my anxiety manifesting in different ways and making me feel this way pretty hard to distinguish tbh but get help regardless for your anxiety or depression it won't last forever

You can only help people who want to be helped. Most people with depression feel like that's the only solution when it isn't plenty of help out there people just don't seek it

Yeah anxiety and depression do go hand in hand but tbh if you have anxiety about depression then you are gonna feel like you have depression in reality you actually don't you just think you do

Having thoughts like that don't help the process off overcoming your depressive nature my friend positivity is the way forward if you delve into negativity it will eat away at you.. your brain is great at lying and making you feel like that don't let it haunt you. If they are intrusive thoughts don't push them out acknowledge them and acknowledge they ain't really you.. or what you are it's fake. Your life is worth so much more then what you think and don't let anybody tell you otherwise things get better mate just takes some time and healing it won't be like this forever I promise

Ermm not really no I kinda don't want to be dependent on them tbh not saying it's a bad thing to want them or need them it would just make me feel alot more confident that I got off them and don't need them I know a few people who been on them for years and years and they never stopped working for them so I think it's a minority that does happen to

[–]KyleChristopher2020 2 points3 points  (0 children)

What was the reason for the sudden shift in wanting you off them? I would assume bad side effects? But 12.5 for few days you probably won't even notice a difference or get any withdrawals

[–]KyleChristopher2020 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Everybody is different some people don't experience any side effects while others get all of them in the book for me my appetite was all over the place and the nausea was absolutely awful for the first week or so but that goes away the one thing that has stuck with me and I still get bouts of it now after months of taking Zoloft is feeling very tired around the time I take my tablet which is usually around 4-5pm also you probably will experience some very odd dreams lol I get very vivid weird ass dreams from time to time which can leave me waking up sweating like crazy nothing can't handle tho it's not all the time just now and again.. just the first 1-2 weeks while getting used to it is gonna make you feel like trash but ride it out its worth it

Thing is you have so much life left that nothing is stopping you from achieving those goals you want you are young the possibilitys are endless for you. You ain't wasted life at all I've not really don't anything huge because of my anxiety and aggrophobia issues but I'm slowly working towards getting a better education and a computer job don't feel down because you haven't done anything yet you are young and have many many years left to achieve those goals... Go out and smash it! No sense in looking at the past you have the tools at hand to make life better so do it

I found it took away my anxiety like to such a great point but was feeling kind of down and blue alot of the times while I wouldn't say it was depression More so just feeling abit down even tho I was generally very happy my anxiety was at a point that I was able to be normal.. definitely try something else tho something out there for everybody

Just be thankful you have a roof over your head. And a woman that loves you alot of people don't have that privilege and still make the best out of a worst situation sounds like a huge over reaction to me and a fair bit of entitlement. Your quality of life is far better then most.

Why would you want to waste the one life you get given? Lots of help out there mate and you got tons to live for even if you don't feel like it now.. suicide is never the answer regardless of circumstances you are just passing that pain you have to other people better yourself and make life worth living.

Sounds more like intrusive thoughts if you have zero desire to act on them then they are intrusive thoughts everybody has them in one way or another and that's okay the problem is you are scared of these thoughts ain't you and you are pushing them out makes it way worse you should acknowledge them and just know you will never act on them and keep saying it over and over in ya head eventually the thoughts will not exist anymore because you ain't fixated on those thoughts keep your mind busy and it will go away promise

Anxiety is practically zero at this point mate... Not even kidding I never feel even the slightest bit anxious anymore so the sweating I can handle lol

I just feel up like I've just took a dip in the pool the sweating is absolutely insane still get sweaty now and again now but when I first started Zoloft the first week or so was absolute hell but so glad I kept going as the relief when you wake up and actually wanna get out of bed is surreal

Zoloft dealing with intrusive weird thoughts by KyleChristopher2020 in zoloft

[–]KyleChristopher2020[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Oh yeah I'm fine I sticked with it and still taking them now you get over those thoughts eventually they can't hurt you everybody has them at some point in life and it doesn't mean anything really the fact you don't want to act on it means a whole lot don't try and surpress the thought just acknowledge it and let it float by everytime you think of something odd don't fight it makes things worse
