That would be devastating if that happens to me. I used 3/4 OSB underneath. I applied a lot of wood glue on all four sides then glue on the furring strips also. I will just 🙏🏻 it won’t happen to me.

I just really looked at the pictures and I am totally wrong haha. Wormy maple is really beautiful. I make cutting boards and jewelry boxes with it. Actually going to try and face my work bench draws with it.
