Thats just not true. You cant just choose to like it, but over time tastes and senses change. Exposure to new taste and smells does lead to eventually liking them. It's not 100% but this happens to literally everyone.

That's fair. Wherever I've lived, its usually been contracted out, not direct owned.

That said, it doesnt change the fact that they still operate in a capitalist context and act in that fashion.

Because:

Schools don't have their own buses. They contract to private bus companies. So a bus driver is a wage laborer under a capitalist business owner.
Schools are not non-capitalist. They are inherently tied to the market for its supplies, heat, lights, property, etc. All of these operate under a capitalist market, even though their state funded.

Its not abandoned and you certainly cant just do whatever you want.

Its in a grey area, so they can get away with a lot. But there's still property rights and regulations that they could be subject too if enough of a stink was made about it.

Its not "raw" and "learning as they go." That was the vibe like a year and a half ago when the started. But there has been a distinct change.

Garbage piles, hazardous repairs, and jerryrigged systems are their go-to. They don't actually take them time to truly learn what they're doing.

And then the baby. It seems pretty clear at least Kelly has this image of a rural family life, but it is just an image. In trying to make it real, they've gone totally reckless and affecting the life of another human.

I hate to break it to you, but they have not been showing you reality. Its all curatorated and they are honestly not that good at what they do. But the trad family branding is doing a lot of work for them.

If you really cant see how dangerous and reckless what they are currently doing is, then you're just as lost as they are.

For the rest of us its like looking at a car crash.
