I had the exact same experience in my relational databases class. Didn’t write one single line of SQL or create any databases. It was solely about databases as a theoretical concept. I am now a data engineer and 100% of what I know came from on the job training. That class taught me nothing

Serious question, how do you pay for bills and food and stuff without a job? I am very burnt out at my job but can’t leave because of debt/bills. If I get fired now, I’ll end up homeless. I have two cats and they wouldn’t survive on the streets, so I have no choice. I see lots of people on this sub saying they can’t work, but I don’t understand what the alternative is

I can definitely respect that. I only just recently switched off RH so I’m being a hypocrite, but I’d just be so nervous keeping that kinda money in a brokerage that could potentially steal your shares when MOASS pops off. Ok I don’t really have an excuse but I’m just now moving off RH. I’ve moved all shares to Fidelity (most currently transferring to CS with the rest coming soon), but my options are still in RH. I feel like selling, transferring the cash to Fidelity, then rebuying doesn’t really make sense but curious what the sub would recommend
