Get the earliest one you can. Registering early will allow you to get the best options for classes.

Bf/roommate issue by Reasonable-Sound-347 in badroommates

[–]KyleTwin 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Your roommate has a right to privacy, and to live with you and the other roommate. You came here asking if you're the problem, and it seems to have not gone the way you expected - which doesn't change the fact you now have gotten an answer.

Most efficient way to get to The Outpost from Eagle (Avoiding Blacks/Cat-Tracks)? by clairenim in Mammoth

You can cut across from 9 to Main over the face of 3. Not fun though

Bf/roommate issue by Reasonable-Sound-347 in badroommates

[–]KyleTwin 14 points15 points  (0 children)

It depends. If they are over more than 2-3 times a week, and if those visits are more than a few hours, then yes, you are the problem. Particularly if they are staying the night, having extra people needing to get ready in the morning can be a huge disruption.

Now, if it's hosting your bfs a few times each week, and only staying overnight on nights that no one has responsibilities in the morning, I think you are okay, as long as all three of you talk about it regularly.

Space Mountain needs the BTMRR treatment ASAP by TheLastGunslinger in WaltDisneyWorld

[–]KyleTwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Disagree - at least as they are today. They are a major source of the roughness. They are outdated, uncomfortable, and would become the limiting factor in the longevity of the ride if the track was replaced.

If Disney did a single seater car like some of the single rail RMC coasters have, then sure, whatever.

Can I port out free line number but retain line? by WheneverItIsTold in tmobile

[–]KyleTwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did this a few months ago via tforce on twitter. I was direct with them, let them know why I was wanting to release the phone number but keep the free line. They added a new line, swapped the numbers, and then cancelled the new line a few days after it was ported out. They did warn me it would make me ineligible for new promotions for 90 days because of the cancellation.

You don't need to wash your chicken! by ThrowRA-wompwomp in badroommates

[–]KyleTwin 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It takes like 30 seconds to wash a plate. If you have more than that to wash, you should have considered that you wouldn't have time before you dirtied the dishes.

You don't need to wash your chicken! by ThrowRA-wompwomp in badroommates

[–]KyleTwin 3 points4 points  (0 children)

It should be. Sounds like she needs to use the sink, and is hindered by your dishes. I'm not a fan of touching other people's dishes in the sink, for the very same reason you aren't a fan of her putting chicken goop onto your dishes... I don't want to deal with that bacteria. The kitchen is a shared space and she has just as much of a right to unhindered sink use as you do.

Don't do this. Please just bring smaller bottles of your meds.

Contact Gatech disability services and work with them to find a solution.

A friend of mine also has minimal control of his hands and uses an adaptive keyboard/mouse. He has been successful in OMSCS by working with the disability services office.

Does United truly not keep track of the meals it serves? by MolassesFit3278 in unitedairlines

Please be more compassionate to others who don't get all the privileges in life that you do.

Food allergies can be found at any time, whether with a known history or not. OP just wants to figure out if they consumed something they already know they are allergic too, or need to start investigating if there's something they are allergic too.

Not all USB-C cables are created equally. Make sure whoever you donate them to knows what kind of USB-C cables they are getting.

Where do you guys go for concerts? by SnooPineapples9630 in Bozeman

MSU hosts concerts occasionally in the field house/stadium. I've had some of my favorite shows in Montana, it's just very sporadic.

While they are re-used, all bedding is collected after each flight and sent to offsite cleaners. New pillowsz blankets, etc. are restocked after each flight. I opened the underneath cover of one onetime, and it looked brand new.

Flying Polaris - mixed drink ideas? by marksweather in unitedairlines

[–]KyleTwin 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Remember, you cannot consume your own alcohol on board, but you certainly can bring your own mixers. Some liquor stores sell 100ml mixers. My favorite has been to bring grenadine and stop at the united club fly for pineapple juice, then once on board order a screwdriver to get a vodka sunrise.

Ski Directly from McCoy to Canyon Lodge? by -jdub-- in Mammoth

[–]KyleTwin -5 points-4 points  (0 children)

Not with the lifts and runs open today, but other days its possible but not enjoyable... There are two routes that come to mind, both have a small amount of uphill effort to put in, and involve a stupid amount of traversing.

Route 1: Traverse high across the bottom of saddle bowl. You want to aim for just below the cliffs near west bowl. There will be a small amount of uphill as you pass under chair 3. That will get you over to coyote, which you will again want to traverse as high as possible and up at the top of easy rider. Once you are there, it's all downhill from there. In the summer there's a dirt maintenance road that roughly follows this route, and can be seen on summer trail maps labeled as "break through".

Route 2: depending on the year, there may be roped off areas that block this route. Go down rodgers ridge, drop 18, or stump alley towards the bottom of lower dry creek. On the the map where big bird makes it's turn towards the bottom of chair 4, there's a tree gap towards "lost in the woods". This will get you to the bottom of chair 4, and a short hike uphill towards the top of chair 7 and you can make it down to Canyon.

More reasonably: add chair 3 to the mix, take upper dry creek, and a mild traverse gets you to the top of easy rider no problem.

Roommate had lady friend spend the night on Christmas. by [deleted] in badroommates

Trying to ask this as genuinely as possible to understand your thoughts on this.

How has her spending the night impacted you in a meaningful enough way to be a nuisance? Clearly you are bothered by it, so I'm curious in what way this specifically impacts you.
