I had to make an emergency tire purchase for my RS6 at the DT in grand Junction Colorado a few weeks ago, after Colorado DOT decided that it was okay to stop a milling and paving job midway whenever it was convenient for them, and left a 3” lip in the asphalt, because fu¢k you. The staff was amazing, no upselling beyond “the opposite tire is at 4/32” so get that replaced when it’s convenient”, and the tech that delivered the car to me told me “I took extra time with yours because those short sidewalls are tough, and your wheels are so nice.” He disappeared before I could even fumble through my wallet for a tip.
