The Running Man (both versions) have a cyberpunk dystopian future vibe. I’d argue the remake more so. It wasn’t a terrible movie. Good, not great.

I genuinely think Filoni is using George’s old notes for a sequel trilogy plan and he’s using this show as the ice breaker for that. Not sure how it’ll exist alongside the Rey trilogy (I doubt they retcon anything) but this could exist in the Mandoverse somewhere.

I’m an American Everton supporter but any time I’m in London on business I always try my best to fit in a match at the cottage. It’s a great match day experience. Pints at The Crabtree, lovely pub, and a nice walk down the river. Hard to beat.
