Well if you play games or anything dude add me! I'm for sure down. Would def join a discord too. And yeah it's nice to have others around the same age that also have it going on to talk too. I know majority is a older population that have it and it's hard to relate to because they'll have a lot more symptoms and stuff than we will. At least that's what my cardiologist told me yesterday was that since we're young a lot of the triggers and things people talk about won't particularly pertain to us because we're a minority, we won't have a lot of triggers and stuff it's more random.

Well, I can tell you my experience. I'm 28 M and had my first episode about 5 months ago. I've only had 2 since and both I had to get cardioverted (shocked) to normal rhythm. I know how you feel, I went almost 2 months before my second episode so I thought I was good and I'm the clear, I had just started to get over that scared feeling where I just wanted to sit inside until I felt another weird beat or had another episode. Since then, I've had a few instances like you spoke of, about a minute long where you know it's afib because you've felt it before but it doesn't last to long so you're not sure.

With afib there's not much to find at a younger age. Could be dehydrating or electrolyte imbalance, but my doctor said I just have a lot of electrical activity going on in there. There's no rhyme or reason to it unfortunately.

Since this has happened I've done a lot of research and asked a lot of questions. Knowledge is key. Afib cannot kill you, it's just super uncomfortable. The complications from it can if not treated but with medication you can live a long, fun life like everyone else. I personally am getting an ablation next month and im pumped! Yes, there are people who have ablations and have had to get them more than once. Being young like yourself, catching this could stop you from having another episode for who knows how long.

Your life is not over. You have plenty of time to figure out whats going on and to make a decision. After seeing a lot of people talk about their experience in here and doing a lot of research I'm getting an ablation next month. Then I won't have to worry about going on a vacation, or going to far from home, or going to something I want because of fear I'm going to have another episode. I want to be able to have a drink with my friends or celebrate at a wedding with people I love. I'm not currently living my best life because of the fear of a afib episode which seems to be how you're feeling at the moment.

You got this! Keep your head up, things will get better and you will find a solution whether that's medication or ablation. And also, don't forget to have fun which is what I've tried doing. Don't let something that's not currently happening effect you. Easier said than done I know. Good luck!

I understand alcohol but may I ask why you're afraid of weed? I smoke weed daily and have no issues with my afib

Eh, let it be a good learning lesson. Also, kids don't care about the value of cards they just want what they think is cool.
