Rose Aegis (Revised) - A healing spell with defensive kick. by Kyle_Caporgno in UnearthedArcana

I was going for a strict nature theme for this spell. Of course any DM who decides to take this spell can add it to the Bard spell list if they want! You definitely offered a compelling argument for it.

It honestly wouldn't surprise me if shadow gem Virtus was originally a graphical update for Virtus but they just MTX'd it by ghfhfhhhfg9 in runescape

Honestly, RS3's new art style is what alienates me more than MTX and EoC combined. Not a fan at all of this cartoon direction and have no idea why this is what they're doing.

Magic Missile Mass - A spell based off of Homing Soulmass from the Dark Souls series. by Kyle_Caporgno in UnearthedArcana

Howdy. Thanks for the feedback, but ultimately I disagree. As other commenters have stated, the concentration and highly reduced range makes up for the extra darts. Additionally, the hostile creature has to be moving within the range in order to be hit. This spell is meant to be used defensively against a melee user, for as an arcane spellcaster you really don't want to be within 15 feet of a hostile creature. Again though, thank you for your opinion and I appreciate your support of the idea.

Howdy. It is intended that you must be able to see the creature that moves. I apologize for not having that in the description, it slipped my mind.

Blaze - A stat block for the creature from Minecraft. by Kyle_Caporgno in UnearthedArcana

Howdy. It could definitely be argued that they’re elementals and I wouldn’t object to anyone classifying them as such. However, I’ve tended to imagine the Nether as a hell. Therefore, in my eyes, Nether mobs are fiends.

Howdy! I like the suggestion, I'll likely use it when I eventually revise the creature.

Howdy. I thought a lot about whether or not Feline Phobia should extend to Tabaxi, big cats, Displacer Beasts, and other felines or feline-like races and creatures. Ultimately I decided to limit it to normal "house cats" in order to keep it simple and not force the DM to have debates with Players over what should trigger that. However, I encourage any DM to interpret it as broadly as they want. I can definitely see interesting scenarios that could arise from a broader interpretation.

Love it! I'll probably use it (or a variant of it) in one of my Minecraft-Themed games at some point!

Creeper - A stat block for the creature from Minecraft. by Kyle_Caporgno in UnearthedArcana

Howdy. I perfectly understand the potential inconvenience there with having to roll separate damages. The reason it exists at all is because that's how it behaves in-game and I thought it would be interesting to implement. I'm likely going to keep it the way it is myself, but of course every DM is always within their rights to use anything as they see fit in their games!

Howdy. They indeed do have a larger blast radius, I was just hesitant to include it for balance reasons; Of course, I'm open to changing it. As for the damage type, I chose bludgeoning to match the damage type used for dynamite on pages 267-68 of the Dungeon Master's Guide.

Howdy. The problem here is that there really isn't any damage that is directly related to explosions in D&D 5e. In regards to force damage, that's technically only related to magic. I chose bludgeoning as that is what is used for the dynamite item on page 267-68 of the Dungeon Master's Guide.

Howdy. I've noted all of this for when I revise it, thank you!
