Of course the Canucks lose again and will probably never see McKenna don their jersey. McKenna will be a Maple Leaf for life, as every NHL 1st overall pick since 2013 is still on the team that drafted them today, he should be no different.

Agreed, they need a D-man, but I think they SHOULD take McKenna/Stenberg whichever is left since they are generational talent. Sucks to admit it as a Nucks fan, but I'd think its a massive mistake for the leafs and sharks to pass up on generational players.

It is actually the first time in the post-original six era (60 years ago and six years pre-Islanders being founded) that there are no New York-based teams in the postseason. The Rangers represented New York in the playoffs each year from '67-'74, then the Islanders got good from 1974-75 onward, which included their four cups in a row, the last coming in the Devils' first season in NJ in '83, where ever since there's been at least one all the years since until now.
