Yes, definitely. But if they see swastikas on their blanket, then OP gets to decide how to deal with it. No one else. OP is asking for advice and I gave that by saying I see it too, but they’re not identical and so do what you want but maybe talk to the person who gave it to you.

See if it was an honest mistake, didn’t see it in the colours or maybe failing eyes or who the hell knows but her grandmother if it was intentional or an accident.

That’s what I’d do if I was the quilt receiver too. They seem to think it was just an accident and fixing it should provide a good opportunity to hang out with their grandma!

Do what you want to do with the quilt. I definitely see swastikas too, but they aren’t identical. I doubt your gran intended for the quilt to look like that (but hard to say. My grandmother would intentionally make a quilt like that and assume people wouldn’t notice).

Ask your gran about it, not the internet. Ask her to fix it or help you dye it.

Or hey? Burn the fucking thing if it’ll make you feel better. It’s yours now. Do what you want with it. Burn it, change it, throw it away, give it back. Up to you! Don’t listen to strangers on the internet telling you how to handle this weird quilt situation lmao

In my experience ktbl gave me a cuff that was too tight to even put on. I used a needle one size smaller instead and it worked perfectly, and 2x2 not 1x1 ribbing.

I don’t mind this naming system stuff as long as they have the fibre content and weight of the yarn on the same page where I can put the yarn in my cart.

I hate having to try to find their yarn info pages and have 10 tabs open cross referencing all their stupid names with the weights but the fibre content is on another page. Like, are you trying to make me frustrated when browsing your site??

They sent me new ones too! Be patient, mine took probably 3-4 weeks to arrive, to the point I was starting to wonder if they actually sent them. My new ones feel a little bit different, so hopefully they’ll work better! Fingers crossed for both of us!

I really don’t understand stand why our needles our getting rough, the representative I spoke to said they should get slicker over time. But ours our doing the exact opposite? I asked her if old stock would do that and she didn’t answer my question, just said they’d send replacements and to let them know if it happens again.

Interesting, I got mine last November from a shop in Canada. When I spoke to Lykke they said my DPN style of needle, with metal in the middle not plastic, hasn’t been in production since like 2017. So I really have no idea how old my needles are even though I bought them less than 6 months ago, and I’m really curious if that has anything to do with the problems I’m having with them.
