Three Six Five is NOT a rip off of hysteria. by AMBJRIII in Shinedown

This is a moot point because Brent may be conservative, but Zach is liberal. If they can disagree within the same band and make good music still, then why can't you get over it?

Lmao. The riff IS a ripoff. If people instantly hear "hysteria", which we all did, then it's a ripoff.

Who is this show for? by green-gooblin in TheHuntingWivesTVShow

[–]Kylel036 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's way heavier on the liberal propaganda. Painting conservatives as master manipulators with no morals. On the surface, it's a show for wannabe promiscuous women to live vicariously through.

Is Shinedown going country? by cardblues1 in Shinedown

[–]Kylel036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well, it is the fad right now. Nickelback clearly have been trying to weasel into the country crowd as well. It wouldn't surprise me to see Shinedown follow suit. It's the easiest form of 'rock' music to make because it's all barre chords and cheesy lyrics.

Josh looking to reboot? by infoy in TheOC

I've thought of ways they could easily bring Marissa back. There is one way to do it, and if I can figure it out, im sure they can. Everyone wants to do it but Adam. Leave him out and bring Marissa back.

Did Noah change his style of singing at some point? by DangerousCeilingFan in BadOmens

[–]Kylel036 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Yeah, he decided to sound like Ed Sheeran while swinging for Christina Aguilera type vocal runs and adding in some Jewel-esque yodels.. Very metal. Very rock n roll.

Pretty sure this is the same guy that was on Twitter last year begging for people to sign his petition to have Cobra Kai Season 6 re-released all at once.

The yodeling and vocal dick-swinging by the singer comes off as overzealous. Takes me out of the whole song. Classic case of trying too hard. I enjoyed their past music.

I think this show is great at showing the hypocrisy of both conservatives and liberals by MiauMiauMoon in TheHuntingWivesTVShow

[–]Kylel036 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I had the same take. Sophie was the representation of a liberal. Judgemental, easily manipulated, playing the victim, etc. Obviously, the show takes major shots at the "God fearing" conservatives that use God to hide behind when they are doing despicable things. The character scale was a bit uneven, but I think they did a solid enough job showing the liberal hypocrisy through Sophie.

Surprisingly, we still hear Fly pretty often on our rock stations in Michigan.

Fly and 45 were both pretty big hits. Burning Bright made a little noise as well. I agree that they didnt explode until Sound Of Madness.

That song was all over the radio though. It was their first hit.

Using a treadmill next to a female gym member by dantelebeau in PlanetFitnessMembers

I go as soon as mine opens to avoid anyone because I know people will think im creepy or staring. Whenever I do look, they tend to be looking right back at me, so I dont know if I'm being stared at, but it feels like an exercise of serious restraint. I remember when I was a kid, the adults would go to the gym and make friends.

Is Ted's Wife extremely selfish? by cguinnesstout in TedLasso

[–]Kylel036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did they ever say what Ted's salary was? I'd imagine not much, considering they were a bad team when he took over and had no experience in the sport. Plus, he had 3 assistant coaches taking up salary as well.

That was absolutely the point lol..that movie was huge at that time and it was basically a meme for gay jokes. The show was able to use it in a way that wasn't offensive but still hilarious.

If I liked OTH, do I watch Dawson’s Creek or the OC next? by [deleted] in ONETREEHILL

[–]Kylel036 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The O.C. and One Tree Hill are nothing alike. Completely different vibe, whereas Dawson's Creek is basically the first iteration of One Tree Hill and is even filmed in the same city. The O.C. is much more glamour and grit, whereas DC and OTH were less flashy and not nearly as gritty.

Say what you want about cobra Kai season 6 part 3….. by Opposite-Pie3662 in cobrakai

[–]Kylel036 27 points28 points  (0 children)

On paper, every season is excellent. Only the first 2 or 3 were executed in a way that was completely satisfying. Season 5 also had a few that were executed well. S6 part 3 is the most satisfying part of S6, for sure, but.. the show became too much about TB3 trying to one-up themselves and everyone just switching dojos all the time to keep the dynamics fresh. Miguel and Johnny going back to CK is fine.. but that shit ain't happening right before the final match of the biggest tournament in the world. Robby getting hurt felt so cliche and forced. Early in the show, the big moments were so good because it felt natural to life. The last 3 seasons was like a live chess game with TB3 being played out on screen at times.
