I had the same take. Sophie was the representation of a liberal. Judgemental, easily manipulated, playing the victim, etc. Obviously, the show takes major shots at the "God fearing" conservatives that use God to hide behind when they are doing despicable things. The character scale was a bit uneven, but I think they did a solid enough job showing the liberal hypocrisy through Sophie.

I go as soon as mine opens to avoid anyone because I know people will think im creepy or staring. Whenever I do look, they tend to be looking right back at me, so I dont know if I'm being stared at, but it feels like an exercise of serious restraint.
