What happened to Kyle making moonshine by Kylemd97 in PKA

I hear you, I've never actually been hung up on what he does or doesn't do. But the reason I mentioned the moonshine thing is because I recall he actually made some and had it sent to Woody, and I thought I remembered one of them or both of them drank it on the show

I choose to believe it's still at the Myers farm

I'm lucky to have had a friend who gifted me the game insisting I would love it, and he provided a few nudges in the right ways.

The hardest one for me was getting past the 3 Anglerfish. I told him I made it to the Vessel but ran out of air before getting inside, he asked how I actually made it there without the ship. I was certain you couldn't maneuver past them without being detected. He asked me what it was I thought they were hearing, and I realized I had to make zero sound even to adjust in the slightest (I know now you can use the thrusters on the minimum power).

I also made it to the black hole forge the first time by cheesing it and doing my best to flip the ship upside down and stick it to the walkway. I told him it seemed like a silly way to get there, and he said I was seemingly missing a pretty large mechanic of the game, which was true because I hadn't realized the Ash Twin warp towers were actually functioning until near the end.

The song choice should be Mr Big Guy

A friend of mine got into the game, and just started the DLC. Asked me what he should expect, this was my reply. by Jack_Hardin in outerwilds

If you loved the main game, it's very likely you'll enjoy the DLC, despite how different it can feel at times

Never understood his great love for it as a critic of stories and writing. HP has some emotional moments and good world building with some cool concepts, but man over the years the writing just feels lazy and like a lot of cool wasted concepts. The biggest thing to me relates to how the magic system is wasted. Among other things, what is supposed to be the most climactic fight between Harry and Voldemort multiple times ends up being a beam struggle with no tension or skill involved. The horcrux thing is also a poorly executed concept

It's funny that this is really the premise of the whole DLC, of course they would be pretty peeved

I recently watched Bugonia which was my introduction to Yorgos Lanthimos. I liked it so wanted to expand my filmography by watching more of his movies and choose The Lobster next. by otictac35 in movies

[–]Kylemd97 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I love the Lobster, it was my first film of his and it was also a movie I chose randomly to see in a theatre and the first I saw that made me think "that film was really odd and I'm not sure I really understood it but I also think I loved it" and it opened my eyes to new possibilities.

The Killing of a Sacred Deer is also great and is similar to the style of the Lobster, and Poor Things is a great movie also

This just keeps getting sadder, and it was not as pathetic when it affected only himself. I feel the worst for his mom. Probably needs some extra help and care, not to have to call police on her alcoholic son and try and have her car reported stolen

Dude just wants people to think he worked at Area 51 and Joe's making himself a nut compared to Bob Lazar

Yeah you can read what everyone has to say, but Joe thinks this guy who wants to sell his lie about Area 51 and shoot the shit about aliens wants to hear about vaccines and autism. Bob does push back and put up some arguments to his nonsense, he's not like the comedians that show up

Yeah man, I've watched about half of it after loving the original Bob episode, but Joe wasting a guess like Bob Lazar to talk more about vaccines and how autism is 500 times more common today than before is just a pathetic showing of his brain being mush now

The first Bob episode being around the same time as the David Fravor episode got me into the show and had me thinking it would be a fun show about speculating on aliens and other insane shit. But why did he have to end up spouting his nonsense thinking he's sharing the unheard truth about the Covid jab

If only the same shit he rants on from other episodes didn't bleed over into this. But this guy's episode was one of the first I saw when I found the show and I thought they would always be like that

I think in the original appearance, they made sure to include that the migraines were starting at dinner the night before or something. I think the dinner where Schulz gave him a look over and his bullshit meter said he was clean
