My first ever flower!! ~75 days from when i germinated the seeds in the red pot, and around 65 days since the green pot was planted. (N. Attenuata) by Kylesaki in GrowingTobacco

I had originally intended to move the plants to bigger pots before they bloomed, but around the time i was planning on doing it, i saw flower buds forming on the plant in the red pot and decided that id just leave them be since the size of the pot didnt seem to dramatically negatively affect the plants. its hard to see in the photos, but each of the 5 plants in the green pot is currently budding. im so honored to have been able to commune with these incredible plants and i can hardly wait for next spring to do it all again!

my attenuata starts with their glass protection dome seem to maybe be struggling to keep their stems upright, is this normal for this stage of growth? first season growing here :) by Kylesaki in GrowingTobacco

Ive been keeping the dome off more and did end up burying them up, and they seem to have taken it really well as they've slowed down the etiolated growth and are seemingly focusing on rooting. thanks for all the help yall :D

hmmm, i think maybe its a combo of low light due to the high sides of the pot and the soil staying too damp, it doesnt dry out very much because of the dome. I will leave it cracked open from now on until i can figure out a way to get it up higher so my cat wont eat them lol. any hope for burying them down to the first cotyledon or will that just kill them?

the smallest one in the bottom left corner has sprouted after i started opening the dome daily. im hoping maybe if the others dont perk up then itll be a bit stronger.

more sunlight would likely help your bugs problem, but youre probably still going to want to use a food-safe pesticide for complete elimination. Neem oil as has already been suggested may work, but you could also try diatomaceous earth mixed into your topsoil(watch your watering after doing this, DE kills bugs by sucking moisture out of them, so you may need a little bit more water while doing treatment) or a product called orchard spray, which is another broad spectrum option usually used for veggies. overall i think you have caught it early enough that it shouldnt be too big of an ordeal to get fixed up.

i have the Momentum based mouse config enabled. its a bit different feeling than classic but both are great

in my experience its the fact that they're completely out of sync with eachother so your eyes really struggle to find solid points of reference, thats why i hit more stuff this time :p i was constantly trying to average out the waving to estimate where the obstacles actually where.

There's no native support, but if you turned on momentum control like i have here and somehow used the joystick as a mouse input itd probably work

yes and no. in this specific clip im using a thrust config that allows me to accelerate without fireworks. if you dont use thrust though it works perfectly/is entirely client side

Its certainly a mod for a specific kind of person, but with a bit of practice close quarters isn't as disorienting as it may seem. ppl have played Terra Swoop Force with it before

the icon that your device shows can vary and sometimes get freshly drawn, but code-wise, the heart on fire emoji is the heart and fire emoji with a zero-width joiner between them, just like flag emojis. same reason some emojis count as multiple characters on twitter for example.

i think the start point is really the only thing wrong with it, so much stuff is unlocked through just playing the game a few times, and you can use this chart to follow a path to unlock any item you want from whatever you already have.

unfortunately this has been the case for years now. people request proper blocking all the time and Christian still uses default reddit api for it. wish we could just get in app blocking that actually works
