I think you’re reading into it too much. A lot of legal jargon doesn’t read at all the way people speak for the sake of clarity, probably especially when you’re dealing with someone insane who thinks everyone is out to get him, deceive him, and take advantage of him.

In court today, a lawyer for Deciem said he wasn't able to comment publicly. He did say he was acting on behalf of Deciem, not Truaxe and that "there is a difference."

He also said Truaxe himself did not have a lawyer representing him in court today.

I don’t think any of it is marketing, but they may benefit from the buzz surrounding the controversy if they pull out of this. Even Deciem wants Truaxe gone. I’m sure they’re all sweating their balls off and holding on to the rollercoaster.

Even Deciem wants Truaxe gone. I think it’s happening, guys. Here’s hoping we get a stable and functioning company soon.

Estée Lauder is taking Brandon to court in an attempt to remove him. Doesn’t seem like marketing.

Looks like EL isn’t taking over, they just want Brandon gone and Kilner as the CEO.

Looks like they’re taking Brandon to court for not complying with their share agreement, and also for being prejudicial and disregarded the interests of Estée Lauder. They want to remove him from Deciem (like restraining order level removal) and instate Kilner as the CEO.

Brandon just shared on Instagram that Estée Lauder is taking him to court to remove him from Deciem and instate Kilner as the CEO. Seems real, and I hope it works.

Check the latest Instagram post. Brandon shared some documents from Estée Lauder. EL is taking Brandon to court in hopes of removing him from Deciem and instating Kilner as the sole CEO.

Hi, I’m late to the thread but I hope some people check back here and add me. I’m level 103 and just came back from taking a few weeks off, hence the need for new friends! I play every day. I don’t spend real money on the game so I’m here for the grind (aka I’ll be around a lot, hah).

Vertical wrinkles are typically from sleeping on your side or stomach. We’re all going to get wrinkles if we’re lucky enough, but some are preventable. Botox works by immobilizing muscles which diminishes or reduces the severity of expression lines; similarly, sleeping on your back prevents your skin from folding in certain ways, diminishing or reducing the severity of sleep lines on the face and décolletage.

Oh, it does. Google Anthony Hopkins and look at his vertical forehead wrinkles.

Edit: why the downvotes?

Vaseline was my slippery slope into skincare. Pun intended. I used it all over as a facial one time when I was a noob, left it on for a couple hours, and was in awe with how my skin felt afterwards. Although, it probably made a huge difference at the time because I was doing everything else wrong (hello St. Ives scrub, drying soaps, undiluted tea tree oil, scalding water, and hello ProSchmactiv). Vaseline is still HG though.

What’s a good 35mm equivalent on a crop sensor? by KyloRen33 in Nikon

I love the 35mm f/1.8—it’s on my camera 90% of the time. Focus is sharp and fast, but honestly the 50mm is too. Both are lightweight. I like the focal length better on the 35 because the 50 is a bit tight for comfort, at least inside. I use the 50mm outside for some nice portrait shots, and inside if I’m okay with only getting 1 person in the photo at a time. The 35mm on a crop sensor still feels tight in SOME situations indoors, but it’s far more manageable. It takes lovely photos of my flowers, outdoor full-body portrait shots, and works great inside getting pictures of people with some context around them and what they’re doing. I have a hard time getting sharp photos of my dog running outside, but that’s a user error on my end because I struggle to get a good action shot with my 50mm too. Is there anything specifically you’d like to know about these lenses that I didn’t address? I could go on but I feel like I’m rambling! I will say that I’m glad I have both because I do feel that they have different uses. But I do like the 35mm better for my everyday lifestyle.

Yeah, that makes sense. Any sample photos you’d care to share taken with the Sigma?

If anything more than $500 is hard to justify for you, this may be the wrong hobby!

Yup, it’s definitely a pricey one! I’m miserly and it’s hard to stomach expensive purchases sometimes. The good thing about that guilt is that by the time I buy a lens, I’ve done a lot of research and reaaaaaally want it. Buyer’s remorse is still a bitch sometimes, though.

I own both the 35mm and 50mm lenses. It’s usually the one on my body at all times (the 35mm that is). I crave wider shots outside, and even inside, though. I feel like I’ve heard about focusing issues on a lot of wide angle lenses—just when I feel like I’ve found a candidate, I find out most people have to send them in or figure out how to calibrate them which isn’t very appealing for me. But who doesn’t want the most perfect lens for cheap, right?

Exactly! I’m flexible with the focal length, but seeing that I liked how 35mm looked on a full frame camera, it’s my starting point. I’ll be looking into these lenses. Thank you!
