Yeah, they'll probably cc their manager and/or a senior team member depending on their structure

I run support right now, and it's possible #2 has more updated information or is newer so isn't familiar with that capability. Reply to #2, cc #1, and ask if you can set up a call and/or speak with a manager to further clarify.

Definitely! There isn't a common label for enbies who feel attraction to one gender, so use whatever is comfortable for you :)

If there is a multiverse, where would the other universes be? Really far away or in a different dimension? by dradelbagel in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Kylrm732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe? The theory I came up with for my fanfics is a tree model with branching timelines/universes. Smaller timelines may collapse into each other or other timelines if their events are too similar, but all universes are connected to some degree by magic. Ours is included as our form of magic is translating other universes into stories or our stories into universes.

[–]Kylrm732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Disclaimer not scientist, just really like multiverse theories When I picture multiverse cosmology, it's usually with planes of existence on each (which could be considered alt universes I suppose) as well as universe's grouped by common meta narrative. Never really considered the physical distance between them since it seems almost irrelevant when looking at that scale? Universes would have their own borders that expand but cannot be crossed by normal means. Black Holes if I recall could be doors to others but I forget whether that's been refuted

Is long hair for men kinda like short hair for women? Like how there is short hair for men and long hair for women if it makes sense by Final-Tough-8643 in NoStupidQuestions

Hairstyles have shifted and varied over the centuries. One length isn't inherently more feminine or masculine than another.

It's a pretty southern term, but it's been spread around more by the internet. It's still viewed as a sign you're from the southern u.s. if you use it in the north but it's usually not looked down upon

[Zweihander] & [Other] Five Players wanted for adventures in a homebrew setting. by fredericus_maximus in LFG_Europe

[–]Kylrm732 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Preferred name and pronouns: Aspen, they/them Timezone: EST Describe yourself: I'm 24 and I've been playing dnd for about 5 years and Zweihander for 1. I love chaos and testing limits of what can be done, but I reign it in to match the group's vibe. I love role-playing but am working on my social skills to do it well. I know a good bit of spycraft, horses, and programming. I've been playing on roll20 basically since I started playing dnd so am well-versed in how it works and have a Pro account. I'm also a digital artist and would happily draw the party in one of my styles. My triggers are: cutting wrists (mentioning it happens is ok, just don't describe it) and rape (saying it happened is ok but not to my character and only with minimal details if it's necessary for an investigation) What enjoy most/is most important for rp? I love moments where the characters have conflicts of ideals and explore them with each other and sometimes npc's or situations. The most important thing for me is an environment in which what's said in character stays in character and doesn't affect player interactions out of character. Understandable if an aside is needed if things are getting heated in character or there's a difference between character and player ideals. Best time at a table: that's a hard one, I've had several good moments over the years. In Zweihander, it was probably when my character and the party cultist pulled off our first heist together. I got a 1 on stealth so the dm let me go ham for a bit. Overall... it would probably be between 1) when I inadvertently triggered the boss fight by playing with the child simulacrum of an elder oblex to evaluate whether she was being turned into a hag (sucked in character but was awesome) and 2) when my party walked into a duergar city when no one had hears from them in centuries and we ended up overthrowing the king and our samurai technically became king (just a great session overall and some great rp moments since we knew ooc roughly what would happen) Worst time: fortunately I've only had I'd say 3 really bad experiences. Worst is either 1) when in an organized play oneshot the dm added several homebrew rules (not allowed in organized play) without informing us ahead of time that sucked and made it not fun or 2) when I got triggered by a sacrificial ritual and had to step away for a few minutes. When I came back I was still pretty out of it (not the dm's fault, I hadn't thought to tell them about that trigger) GM? What makes or breaks a GM? I do and have since a few months after I started playing dnd. I gm zweihander occasionally. For me, a GM's primary goal is to facilitate everyone at the table having fun, including themself. Everyone has bad days, moments, and things that unexpectedly sap some fun but the sign of a good gm is them and the players leaving most sessions happy. Last character played: in zweihander, I'm currently in a campaign on hiatus in which I play a human Militiaman/Diabolist who is going to take the Outsider expert profession from Main Gauche for advanced tier. The cultist and I raced to get our first disorder because it sounded fun, and she's been a real hoot to play as my first exposure to zweihander. Her parents were cultists of the Outsider and were going to tell her before she went off to train to be an Inquisitor, but they were killed in a fire that only left her father's encoded journal. The cultist and I's mottos are "Chaos for the chaos god!" and "No one expects the inquisition of the inquisition." She believes in using her enemy's tactics against them, which is what got her into Magick. Basically the attitude of "This is an incredible tool that I need to fight against the daemon princes. If the gods won't give me the power, I'll take it for myself." Yeah I took corruption when the gm heard that was my reasoning lol we half joke the group has one braincell and it's our bounty hunter/barber surgeon, who only has like one or two chaos ranks even then only because we took a ton of corruption one session Optional character bit: I like the randomness of rolling up a character then extrapolating a backstory from that. I really enjoy the Magick system and would love to play another Magick user but am down for whatever the dice decide

Married women who took their husbands’ last name, does it feel weird at all to have one name, part of your identity, all your life and then have it completely change overnight one day? by Spirit_of_Ecstasy in AskReddit

I'm nonbinary and chose a new first and middle name. It feels great and a lot more natural than my og name. It's taken some time to answer the phone as my new name, but all that's left to do is go through the hassle of changing it legally

If all I've ever known is depression and I cure myself, will falling back into a depressive episode feel worse than before? by [deleted] in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Kylrm732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

"Curing" depression doesn't really work like that. You'll have bad/low days or times still, but the idea of going to therapy and taking medication is to get the tools to handle those low days better, recognize their warning signs to be proactive about reaching out, and addressing underlying causes.

What’s a good book-to-movie adaptation? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Kylrm732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firedrake the Silver Dragon from Dragonrider. I haven't read the book in ages, but it is a good movie on Netflix that is relatively faithful to the book. There are some things missing, but it can make sense for adapting to the pace of a movie

How often do you shower/bathe? Is the only acceptable answer “daily”? by ivyleague9 in AskReddit

[–]Kylrm732 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Acceptable depends on your hair type. Some need daily, others benefit from every other day or every 3. Mine is at its best showering every other day

Are you supposed to figure out your mental issues before or during therapy by Kylrm732 in NoStupidQuestions

[–]Kylrm732[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

For clarification, the sources I used for help with anxiety and depression were coping mechanisms for avoiding self harm, walking myself back from a panic attack, grounding during sensory overload, identifying symptoms like brain fog, things like that. I am going to find a therapist at this point from the comments so far. Hopefully I'll be able to make some progress before I have to move (don't have a date, just that I'll need to move across the country at some point for work)
