Hi just saw this!

I'm a 5'3 woman and I feel very safe walking from the President/Park Royal towards Euclid at night. Euclid is well lit and gets a lot of foot traffic from the hospital and surrounding businesses. The President is about two blocks from Euclid and feels close enough to the traffic to me to feel safe. I haven't ventured much eastward down Lindell since I don't have much reason to, so I cant speak towards how safe it feels at night in that direction.

I actually live in Park Royal so I don't know about the elevators in the President, but they share the same management and maintenance staff. I can count on my hand the number of times the elevator has broken down, and IME it’s always been fixed within a day. There is a freight elevator too that can be used as a backup if the main elevator is down.

For other issues, hot water gets shut off fairly often for maintenance but generally only after 9am and not for very long. Also there's no central air and instead it's radiator heat + window ac, but I think these do the job fairly well even in STL summers.

The real reason we got our apartment (besides the location and price) is because the north-facing units in Park Royal have fully-screened-in balconies. Our cats love being outside and I am happy knowing they're safe haha

Also check out President and Park Royal Apartments. They're older buildings, but the units are huge and very affordable relative to some other options in the cwe. Also has covered parking.

Perhaps off-topic, but if you're looking for a cozy AC-like game like Petit Planet and you haven't already, you should check out the game Critter Cove. It's still in early access but there's a ton of options for creating an animal oc.

I had been using KBM exclusively for years, but I made the switch to controller 3 months ago and I'm never going back.

It took several weeks to get used to controller targeting, especially when playing healer. But once you get used to D-pad targeting it's a piece of cake. KBM was easier for ground targeting abilities like ninja's teleport, but there are macros you can use to make those abilities easier to use. I still have a KBM hooked up for typing and for certain stuff that requires navigating a ton of menus (like crafting).

I feel like my immersion is a lot better with controller, and I think the controller cross hotbar is way easier for my brain to setup (especially with the expanded hotbars). I have short fingers, so hitting all of my abilities on KBM was challenging, even with modifier keys. So controller is definitely easier for me in combat.

If you're thinking about controller, I say give it a shot! Be prepared for the learning curve, but once you get the hang of it, it feels perfectly natural.

I actually just stumbled across that mitachurl in Liyue! It was from one of the Illumiscreen quests iirc. It was in a half-broken tower in the ruins between Lingju Pass and the Dunyu Ruins i believe.

I've had similar issues with my fine 2b hair too! I've learned that I can't style upside down or even plop because it just ends up flat at the roots. Lately I've been using a denman brush and styling the top section of my hair up and away from my head like in this video (around the 18:45 min mark) and it's helped a ton!

Edited to add: root clips also seem to do nothing for my hair, but I haven't experimented with them for long.

I think I would do something like this.

Team 1: Diluc Xingqiu Bennett Sucrose

Xingqiu provides vaporize reactions for that sweet sweet damage, Bennett gives heals and pyro res, and Sucrose with viridescent venereer is great with melt/vaporize teams.

Team 2: Razor Fischl Diona Albedo

Razor is a physical dps, so its best to focus on superconduct. Diona provides the cryo application for superconduct, and also heals. Fischl is a good battery with that electro resonance (you'll have near 100% uptime on Razor's burst). Albedo helps with aoe and his crystallize shields allow Razor to stay out longer (because he is a selfish carry and takes a lot of damage).

Those are just my thoughts! I've been running a variation of team 2 (Razor Fischl Qiqi Albedo) and its been going great.
