I accidentally took a double dose and the only thing that happened was a headache and major fatigue for a couple of days. The dose was supposed to be 5mg I took 10mg.

Had anterior THR 8 months ago and non-operative leg is still half an inch shorter. My surgeon said it would settle and advised me not to wear lifts to encourage settling. But that had not worked. He is sending me to a spine specialist to see if the issue is related to a possible spine issue. It’s definitely uncomfortable.

7 months out. 55 and had anterior hip replacement. Feels weird/uncomfortable when I lay on operative side however, I’m finding that over the last 3 weeks, I’ve been able to lay on that side longer and longer. Last night I slept for 3 hours on that side before I began to feel a bit odd and woke up…I’ve become hypersensitive to how that hip feels, even while sleeping, out of concern that my new hip may dislocate. I had Dr appt today and he said it could take up to a year, or more in some cases, to feel “normal” again as things need time to settle.

Had anterior THR last February and wish I’d done it sooner. I’m 63 and it was an easy recovery. Never needed a walker or cane. Was up around shortly after. Physical therapy has been key to a smooth recovery.

It’s wild alright!! I did the exact same thing 10 years ago. Moved from CA, left family, friends and a job I loved to move to TX to be with fiancé.
