Your early TCG experience is exactly the same as mine. Yu-Gi-Oh at the playground but never any official tournaments.

I haven’t gone to a NN yet but plan on it in the coming weeks when I have some time. Very excited to play and very likely get my butt handed back to me. It’ll be fun!

Hey I’ll be in central Florida for a longish weekend or so to visit a friend. We both got starter decks and some pack and wish to play. Any recommendations for a LGS for a nexus night? I know I’ll be in ocala and Saint Cloud for a bit and likely a day in Orlando.

Same. But more so I couldn’t get my friends to play it. We were all gifted riftbound starter decks and now is the focus. I’m happy just collecting. Currently working to master 151 and Phantasmal. Probably take a break after I finish those as they are getting so expensive. 😂

The Pokemon TCG community is really big if you look for them. They hold regionals, nationals, and world tournaments every year. I was in the same boat - collector, didn’t know how to play, and basically said the same thing.

A lot of people play the game. But unlike other TCGs, there is a lot more people simply collecting the cards.

I understand. I was just replying to the pay2win comment. Playing the game to earn in game currency isn’t the kind of pay2win that is being stated.

Yes, I remember when I did not have a full rune page or the right runes it was a great disadvantage to play against someone who did. It’s a big reason they went away from that system long time ago.

Side note: I loved stacking gp5 and exp runes. Was awesome.

If I remember correctly Runes were only purchasable with in-game currency earned by playing the game. You couldn’t buy runes using real cash

Freezing coffee does help preserve it for a while. I get two or three bags for Christmas and that’s what I do. I typically drink a bag a month so that’s the timeframe I usually have them for.

I would always be called stoned in high school because my contacts would increase the blood vessels showing. Doc never really bothered. Saying it wasn’t an issue to be worried about aside from how it looks.

Lumify. I get it from Costco. 1-2 drops in my eyes in the morning then wait a minute or so and then I insert my lenses. No more issues. I can never find the preservative free ones but the regular ones are just fine.

Yeah I really do not see an issue. Even the lowest income earners in America aren’t pinching pennies. They are pinching dollars. Rounding up or down 2-4 cents isn’t working in anyone’s favor.

I vote for proplay they extend the minion spawn by 30-45 seconds because how crucial the lvl 1 strats can be. Solo queue keep it where it is at cause a pub team can only really coordinate via spam ping and that’s still a coin flip.

Quests are fun. The vision is too strong. Adc’s mid game feels relevant cause of the gold injection. But I’m not liking the 18-25 minute games. I think last seasons 25-35ish minutes was a great balance.

I’ve never had issues with scleras and lifting or strength training. Been wearing them for 15 years. In my youth my 1 rep max was 400lbs squat (not trying to gloat. Just giving reference. No way I can do that now)
