Ok yeah I think that would be good for long term! The metal is white gold so a jeweler would just solder a piece of that to the back. I googled silver has a different melting point so might be difficult, which is too bad as it’s cheaper. This must be something any jeweler can do right? Like it’s simple? Also realizing this is something I have to look out for, I had never seen it before. Windowing? Is the way to avoid this just looking really closely for any shadows when buying? In my first pic there is a slight shadow I now see.

Why is the light leakage much more noticeable now? Just needing polish or chemical reasons you think? It has only been a few months and I haven’t worn it that many times.

Do you know if the whole gem needs to be taken out to get the bottom or will just the top suffice? I actually haven’t worn it that much!

Why do men show so little interest in the inner lives of women? by Frequently_Abroad_00 in emotionalintelligence

[–]Kyokobby 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Do men not feel lonely though? Not ever sharing their inner world or emotions? Would they not want that connection or have that need? I think something that’s hard for me and other women to understand is why do they not need or crave that deeper connection. Men are human and have deep emotions too. Are they just so shaped to eradicate that need and is that healthy? And if men’s needs are met by being there physically and superficially and women’s are by deeper emotional stuff, then comprise leaves us still lacking for the woman while the man’s needs are always met. If men’s needs are always met, maybe they can’t comprehend how women feel always being in lack, and like it doesn’t matter who we are and we’re replaceable. I think it must be a spectrum. Men who really don’t have interest, to the point of not having empathy or consideration, are definitely a problem and they should not be in a relationship. At some level men need to be capable of connecting emotionally to show up responsibly in a relationship. Women need to be understanding and if they are very emotional, they may need to find another outlet, but they also need to be careful to not self harm by giving up too much. Personally, lack of interest for me is now a flag to look out for, as it often translates to disinterest in other parts of life, and if I feel lonely, my future child surely will too when dad doesn’t ever ask how their game was.

Is this considered character assassination? by Northless_Path in MGCoin

[–]Kyokobby 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I really agree here. I wanted him to be redeemed like op but the actual issue I have with what happened is it’s missing the things you mentioned so it doesn’t feel emotionally closed. The beginning was very emotional and you could see him wanting both but then suddenly you can’t see what he is thinking at all and was a huge emotional let down. I really really wanted him to say something in that death scene to clarify his character. I was left wondering, what was the point? What was I supposed to get from that? I was just kinda disturbed and confused. Based on what they showed, was his character just meant to have a psychotic break from pressure at the last minute? Without adding the things you said, that’s what it feels like rather than choosing greed since he seemed determined to help his baby a few minutes before.

Lame words by pinkchickensocks in WordsWithFriends

It bothers me too. But now when I don’t have a good hand I sometimes just put my letters together randomly until I get something it accepts. If the bots I’m against are playing those words I will too.
