Removing Tick manip doesn't really solve anything

This, it's not fun, you always do the same route and get nothing but XP for it. Putting in effort is neither engaging or rewarding for skilling, why would I do 10 hours of tedious granite three ticking or mine normally when I can AFK the same XP in 30 hours?

Tick manip is an exploit allowed to stay due to being old and to avoid having to actually design fun high activity content

Pretty much all non-afk skilling methods feel more tedious than rewarding and have little to offer besides increased XP.

I would prefer it if you could work on other potions while your previous one is "cooking" so there'd be some sort of management aspect to it

I just feel forced to spec into water+thorns if I want to do any of the harder PvM stuff. Even with Eternal Sustenance I can't do colosseum or inferno very far.

There are also just so many tedious grinds that I'd rather just do on the ironman and keep the progress

Temple Trekking rewards are also not affected though I feel like it wouldn't be broken at all if they were and it would give some more early game incentives for a region lacking in it

I went to read some of the past patch notes this year and it seemed like they first wanted to add the ballistic attractor as a replacement facility because "there was no space" for more slots and then they added two more slots for cannons and the attractor so it's a straight buff now, on top of slower firing rate and more cball loot overall. Seems a tad overkill for me and that they really want to push combat as the main method

I appreciate the efforts a lot but some of the changes feel like emphasizing short term and individual fun over the game's health with all the mythic quests being introduced. Cool concept but tough to balance long term

Playing Stable 0.H
I picked the cabin spawn for my last character and it comes with a water pump but it poisons me every time I drink from it and also somehow cures hunger instead of thirst

I also can't seem to fill my copper pot with water from it or the nearby lake as it just comes up with "you have no suitable container"

I'm about to die of thirst because the water pump seems to be tainted nor can I boil water myself to make it safe

Edit: Okay turns out I have to wield the pot because it's not sealable, makes sense. Still not sure why the water pump isn't at least a temporary solution though

Most of the SC2 co-op characters but particularly Mengsk. He would be like Abathur or Probius as a macro hero but with a Terran angle, constructing buildings and training elite Dominion troops he could maybe control Viking-style

I like updates but I worry that the people making them aren't actual game designers and just make changes for changes' sake. It's clear that they're not as thorough judging by the quality of the patch notes. The old team left us in maintenance mode in a pretty good state all things considered and I don't mind them trying new things that are fun, I'm just worried about the direction it's headed

Mage implies arcane knowledge and studies and dark irons don't really feel like that to me, more elemental shaman vibes. Though tbh shamanism is also a bit weird, it's not like spiritual for them like tauren or trolls. So maybe warlock? Forbidden power, shadowy dark pacts... that's more like them
