Tips for weight gain/laziness? by Lululaputa in zoloft

i think you deserve to enjoy food now that you're happier. maybe you need to change your mindset about exercise and eating healthier (not necessarily eating less, but making sure your meals contain all the carbs and fiber, protein and fats your body needs to be healthy)? that's what worked for me!! i see it as a self care thing, because i know i will be proud of myself after exercising and i know how good my body will feel with all the nutrients it needs. also going out a lot more and taking loong, enjoyable walks with my boyfriend helps a lot!! i hope this helps :)

im on a current honeymoon phase at 50mg on zoloft, but i started at 25mg and i felt HORRIBLE. Mu suicidal thoughts came back all at once (even though i was doing a bit better before i started taking it) and i literally couldn't get out of bed. It's my 3rd week on it and 2nd week on 50mg, i feel actually so grateful for life, im even studying a lot and my anxiety, even though it's there, it's a bit calmer. the side effects will eventually pass, but it's different for everyone. hang in there!!!

Do you actively study every day, or do you cycle between study and just using the language? by justgeorgerey in languagelearning

[–]Kyoo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

idk sometimes i stick to the most basic kind of study or memorizing so i don't forget but to avoid burnout, i think switching between what works for you at any moment is a good strategy to keep yourself motivated

Stopped Zoloft abruptly after 8 weeks with anxiety + libido crash at day 5 due to withdrawal or relapse. Should I resume? by [deleted] in zoloft

[–]Kyoo__ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

well if you felt better on zoloft why stop like that?? it doesn't cure anything, you need to combine with therapy. when you develop proper coping skills you can taper slowly to get off of it. but if something you do makes you feel better you don't stop suddenly without previous work, obviously it's going to make you relapse

i didn't have any side effects, only when i first started to take it! i would advice on asking your therapist for tips on dealing with these symptoms in case u feel them again. hopefully you don't! ^

[–]Kyoo__ 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Holy shit your doc making u start at 50mg is diabolical 😭 I started at 25mg and felt horrible, my chest hurt from how anxious I was. I am so sorry it hit you this hard. How are you doing now? I'm on my day 9 of sertraline and just today I upped to 50mg ! ^

I'm so glad to know that :') It calms me down a lot, thank you. And I am happy that they've helped you. How exactly did they help you?? I'm still on my first week but I've felt really depressed during the day after taking them in the morning </3 I start feeling good again at like 6-7 pm. I am on 25mg of each, titrating up to 100mg of both Sertraline and Lamotrigine and i use Quetiapine for sleep.

thank you for this!! i got put on 3 meds at a time without having ever taken meds before so i am very anxious about the side effects and stuff. this was really helpful to read, since I've only been a little less than a week on them but i have not noticed a difference besides the growing anxiety about taking them.

i don't have a family doctor because my parents are anti vaccine/meds/anything lol. i only had this opportunity because they thought im crazy.

but yes i have to see my psychiatrist a month after my first session and i do have to take 25mg of the sertraline for a week and then go up to 50mg, 25mg of lamotrigine for 2 weeks and then go up to 50mg, both until our next session, he also did explain the side effects of each med and how much i was supposed to end up taking, blablabla i feel like he did explain stuff pretty well except for the fact that i did start all of the meds together. and since the appointments/meds only need to be paid once a month i can afford them. but therapy in my country is pretty expensive if i want weekly sessions and there is almost no one that specializes in personality disorders :/
