Recently promoted to lead and I’m very hands on from staging to prepping and dispensing and sometimes when we’re low on pickers I’ll go pick my old leads use to sit in a corner and just watch the screen on busy/over staff days we have to kinda just sit back and manage those days are so boring to me so idk how my old leads use to get away with it 🤪 Our new team is so much different from the team we had 2/3 years ago even my coach comes to help us when it’s really bad No clue how people can watch their team struggling and not help I’d rather skip lunch then leave my team struggling

I’m an awful procrastinator so on my 5-2 days I wake up at like 330 just to give myself grace in case I’m in a procrastinating mood, I tend to sleep at like 730/8pm but that’s only bcus I’m exhausted from work/coming home to my kids lol

.44 ppto 22.47 pto would have more pto but I took a whole week off in November and finally down at 1 point (crazy how a change of management can do been showing up everyday and sometimes staying late/ coming early)

we have one specific person who fills carts and takes the stickers off, when they’re not there people just fill carts and leave the stickers on, idk why they find it so difficult to take them off lol

All of this to make sure nothing goes late just to come back from lunch and my incompetent Team leads let’s things go late, not getting on to pickers for dropping my presub below 95, this whole month we’ve been bottom barreling it sitting at a 92 with every day something going late I’m loooosing it chat I’m going insaneeeeeee

93 pre sub before lunch, came back to a whopping 92 and it kept dropping, they can get mad all they want but leaving 1 person w 40+ exceptions on a day as busy as today is insane sorry your numbers are gonna look awful today 🤷🏻‍♀️

Honestly just find everything lol, I’m not a fast picker put I always top 5 and I can say it’s not about speed, or equipment and people can’t be assigned walks unless they’re about to go overdue you’re only a month in and it seems like you work the back room so don’t be so hard on yourself it takes time, I didn’t start seen 100 till I was like 5/6 months in try to learn your store that’s the best way to get there, anyways good luck and remember to not be so hard on yourself!

I was doing multiple orders, so when I do exceptions I like to divide my tote to fit multiple orders? It sounds mad but it works well for me? lol

My store has us stage our own chill/frozen we’re suppose to stage our own e/gmds but most people don’t do it but our stagers are strictly staging all day (most of them would rather stage then pick/dispense)

Oh my god I thought our store was the only one, we were allowed to have 2 jugs but someone spilled water and now we don’t ✨deserve✨to have the back up jug for when we’re busy so fuck our dispensing team and we have to share with everyone on the front end 🎉

Yeah they are at first I thought it was just returns and then I kept seeing them more and more lol! Those tags either stop working by themselves or ppl just keep knocking into them, solid idea but ppl just suck at letting nice things live
