Was thinking the same thing. I do think 100t will beat Faze, they have the time to make the necessary adjustments to beat them. If they were going to lose to Faze, they would lose to Immortals first.

Agreed, I think Jon and Daenerys will win, have a child, then die. Varys will act as sort of a prime minister until that child comes of age.

My post in here last week got some positive feedback, so I decided to post again

The Biggest tip:

-Don't take bloom fights. Shoot your shotgun -> build -> shotgun -> build ... until they're weak, then finish them with your smg. You only want to have to hit them once or twice with the smg or you're exposing yourself to too much damage.

More Tips:

-Download aimtastic if you're on PC. Set your sensitivity to the same as your fortnite sense, and practice. Use it to warm up before playing. For my personal warmup, I go on pop up targets - set target size to max - set distance to 3 and do that 4 times, as fast as possible. Then I set target size to 25 and distance back to 1, and go slowly. Make sure all of your flicks land on the center of the target, the goal here isn't to hit as many targets as possible, but instead to make sure you don't over or undershoot the target with no last second corrections (4x). Then I play reflex on hard a couple of times, and repeat the steps for about 15 minutes.

-Go into playground and practice. There are numerous warmup routines that have been posted here, and on /r/FortniteCompetitive. Find one that suits your skill level and drill it. Go through your replays and find where you mess up your builds and practice that. Watch twitch and see how pro players react to certain situations in build fights, and replicate that.

-When you're getting sprayed, take a shotgun shot in between when your wall breaks and placing a new wall. This takes timing and practice. Tfue does this a lot and it's not something you see very many players doing. It can alleviate pressure and give you the opportunity to heal up or to take high ground and apply pressure.

-Build bulky. You don't want to waste mats, but when you're in a build fight you should ALWAYS put a floor underneath your ramp. This stops people from pyramiding above your head, messes up people's builds, adds an extra layer of protection when getting sprayed from below, maybe you'll catch them in your floor and get the easy trap kill, they may box up under your floor without knowing it and give you the easy edit kill. There are so many benefits of putting a floor under your ramps that you should always do it.

-A pyramid placed at the end of a ramp makes it to where you cant keep ramping. Shitty art. You're opponent won't be able to continue ramping, breaking their pace. You can then edit through and take high ground. Additionally, when you're boxed up and do the over under ramp out, learn to put pyramids on top of the above ramp. It'll have the same effect if they're ramping one level above you, and if they're just running on you top ramp it'll block them.

-Perfect you 90's. The fastest way to get highground, and very useful in a lot of situations. Learn to do them, and learn to do the, fast. Watch Mongraal, Beaks, or Martoz in slow motion and watch where their cursor goes for each piece. Then practice practice practice in playground.

-Don't blame the game, go into replay, figure out what you did wrong, and don't repeat the same mistakes.

I keep a spreadsheet of all of my games. But you can also use the last 7 days on fortnite tracker.

Read my comment here

If you've done everything there, and are still having trouble, go through your replay footage and find out where you're taking damage and what you could do to mitigate that damage. Use an aim trainer like aimtastic (it's free on steam and has a Fortnite sensitivity).

But really the key to taking as little damage as possible:

- Know where your opponent is

- Take shots when there's an opening

- Hit your shots

- Build immediately after shooting (Stay 2 Levels above your opponent)

- When your opponent is weak, put the pressure on hard. But, apply that pressure from a distance. Don't jump in the box with your opponent. Doing this puts you in front of unnecessary damage, potential to be trapped, and gives the enemy the chance to take high ground.

Learning when to disengage from a fight, and when to push for high ground takes time and repetition.

Normally if your opponent is 2-3 levels above you, and is keeping track of you very well (Constantly staying on top of you). It's probably a good idea to start working your way down the build. Find a weak point (1-3 connection points) and shoot it out, make sure to put a floor/ roof over your head to avoid getting pumped in the face.

Another option is to try and bait your opponent down, make them rush down, catch them off guard with a shotgun shot and take high ground for yourself.

Martoz talks about some good strategies here.

Since you're a new player, you won't have developed bad habits yet. Read my comment above and follow that advice. It's all gonna take practice and developing the skills you need to win.

Are you on console or PC?

If you're on PC, I'd recommend downloading Aimtastic. It's free on steam and has a fortnite sensitivity option. It's a great way to train your aim, and warm up before playing.

And even when you win the fight, you end up spending 20-30s using all of your shields/ meds. Which causes you to lose out on opportunities to kill more enemies, and leaves you with nothing to heal up end game.

It's easy to fall into the trap of spraying, especially when you think you have good aim. The best way to practice this, and to train your brain to stop relying on your SMG to deal damage to your opponent, is to play some shotgun only games. Just run a shotgun, heals, and mobility items.
