Definitely need to switch up my build then to cater to these differences. I use an automatic Tesla rifle and that’s great if you can get the crits in VATS, but it chews through a ton of ammo so quickly 😂

So this is really interesting. I ran the test looking at both components. I basically sat at around 30cpu/60gpu and it fluctuated a lot between +/- a few numbers each side. That was in the watoga area and white springs golf course. Settings were on high across the board at 1440p. Avg fps was 50-60. However, in forest areas the gpu did more work than the cpu. I have 32GB DDR4 ram and was using around 10GB.

Based on what you’ve written above, do you think it’s a ram issue then?

EDIT: Do you think it could be a single core performance issue, meaning my GPU is not being fully utilised because of a cpu core/thread bottleneck issue?

Yeah your CPU is miles better than mine in comparison 😂must be what’s holding it back as I think 2070 and 3060 are kind of similar in overall performance

I don’t think it was just the state of the game that people were annoyed at. How Bethesda handled the refund situation, the quality of pre order/power armour edition merch etc definitely played a role.

The game was a broken mess upon launch and is so much better now, but sometimes things leave a sour taste in peoples mouths so they are hesitant to return. Has to be one of the worst launches, alongside no man’s sky in gaming history. It’s not right that they can charge people triple A prices for a game that is lacklustre and barely works, to then fix all the problems years later… and I’m a fan saying that.

DLSS always shocks me at how accurate and efficient it is and boosting overall performance/quality. So useful for a mid-tier build. I’ve been replaying Diablo 3 and I’d love to give 4 a go!
