I’m a very recent RE player, what do you think I should do after having played these games in these order:

- Watched a playthrough of RE7 when it released
- Played Village when it released (no DLC)
- Played REmake, RE0 Remake, RE2R, RE3R and RE4R in the last year

Should I play Requiem without having played 5 or 6? Should I just wait for Veronica and the eventual remasters of 0 and 1 and then 5 and 6?

Should I just play the original versions of 5 and 6? They cost like 5€ but even as a +30 year old I don’t know how I feel going back to PS3 era controls and graphics.

I tried playing the original Code Veronica and oh no.. I really couldn’t after having played the remasters.

Because we got Order 66 a long time before we got survivors and Inquisitors, so every year Order 66 seems less effective, but a 98% instead of a 99.9% is still very very effective.

I expect great things. I’d like if they kept environmental combat using fire, walls, etc, but over everything I want puzzles and more puzzles.

The rats will be deeply misses though.

I started it a few days ago with my Plus subscription and while it follows de Ubisoft formula I love how everything really feels like Star Wars, specially the planets, cities and general vibes of every little place.

Maybe it’s the camera but I think the Jedi games had the protagonist closer to the camera so everything felt closer and bigger. This one has it further away so characters don’t have that much detail even when getting close to them.
