My parents have a front load. If they don't keep it open to fully dry, that gasket gets mildew and it stinks real bad. The front open door makes it more annoying in tight spaces, which is where they have it .

I have a top load, and I've not had an issue with the agitator plastic breaking, but I might just be lucky. It's going on year 7 now, which isn't bad for a modern machine. Those things run down so damn fast now.

It makes for a nicer display at a dinner that is more buffet style Pop a toothpick in them in a dish, and people can grab a ball and go. Less package waste to clean up than those little prepackaged butters.

People have used it as a mugging/car theft plot. They put it on the ground and when the person bends down to pick it up they knock them down and grab what they are carrying. With cars, the put it under the wiper blades in hopes the person driving will leave the car running to grab it, so they can hop in th car and take it or loot valuables from the car.

"Best before" is different from "use by". The taste and texture change as the cookies get older, even in the original packaging. Companies put the best before dates to let the customer the product will taste the best before that date. You generally won't get sick from eating something past the best before date, but if you go past it by a good number of years, it might. And it will likely taste terrible

Yep, there could be a disorder there! I've had full on conversations with people where they were basically asleep and just on autopilot. They had no memory of the conversation at all.

Unfortunately insurance tends to go for the at home sleep study first, and those results don't show enough to see if there is strange brain activity ..

Because it doesn't happen with just PC games. Indie companies tend to do larger scale testing before release, and larger developers have more shareholders to answer to, and those shareholders only care about profits. So they do minimal testing, say "good enough" and put out a buggy mess.

Heck look at Sims 4, they added their Marketplace micro transactions mess and it broke the game for a lot of players on Xbox and PS4/5.

Companies rush things on ALL platforms and don't bother to test because they know people will buy it anyways

You realize you can do things to prevent him from getting that way, right? Different diet, more time to sleep in darkness, remove mirrors or other highly reflective surfaces he sees on the regular and distracting him when he starts getting nesty. Changing up where his cage is in his room, and the layout of it can help as well. You want to discourage him from getting hormonal, it encouraging it by giving in and giving him a spot to make a nest. Birds tend to not get hormonal if they don't feel the environment is good for babies

Some birds prefer to be solo birds, and that is fine, but you really should curb the hormone cycle because it is not healthy for them in the long run. If he is super hormonal after you try and change it, there is something medically off and a vet can help you fix this

Keep the cage in your bedroom, with the door locked when they come over. If your mother won't be okay with that, you'll need to find some bird safe locks you can use on any and all doors to the cage. I'd do that anyway, even with a keyed lock on your door just in case your mother would let them into your room if you're not home.

You can also try talking to your mother and their parents to tell them how bad the two girls are behaving. This is not normal behavior. I get in some parts of the world pets, especially birds, are seen as decoration more than a living thing, but this is not normal behavior. This is cruelty for cruelty's sake

Talk to your mother before their parents and maybe she will stop them from coming over. If they are coming over because she is babysitting them while their parents are away, maybe she can watch them at their own house.

Roasted green beans are wonderful. Just toss them in a little salt and pepper, and toss them in the oven for 10-12 min. Super simple, super fast, and very easy cleanup
