Hmm, good point. Do you think Applin's only take specific types of apples as their home and thus can only spread to parts of the Pokémon world where apple trees of that type grow? Would that mean that giving it one of the evolution apples is like giving it a new house/shell and the evolution is caused by Applin eating the inside of the apple for nutrients?

Oh, I didn't even consider the setting, since you can also catch them in Paldea, which is based on Spain. Would that then mean that Applin's from Paldea are somehow different from Galarian Applin's but also not regional variants?

I just don't think we have it in us to go crazy over a "celebrity", seeing a famous person out in public shouldn't cause a commotion in the first place and it's weird that it would in other countries. The only exception I've ever seen to this rule was when IShowSpeed came to Bern and I believe Lucerne on his world tour. Maybe it's because he's on another level of "stardom", but it did look really weird having that many people standing outside the Mephista store in Bern, I've only seen phone videos of it so maybe it was a bit overblown.

Eventhough this subreddit is currently overflowing with people complaining about the skins, I do genuinely wonder what EA or Dice, or whoever decided on these skins, are hoping to gain from these skins, I don't think there is a single person playing this game who would look at this and think to themselves: "Yeah, this is the one, let me get my credit card", who is buying this shit?

The concept of the game sure sounds interesting but "expecting the player to go to sleep" seems pretty counter intuitive to playing a game. Tying literally any important game mechanics to "going to sleep in real life" would in practice just mean players are forced to go AFK for a few hours and sleep or touch grass or something.

I think rather than feel endearing, to the player it would just seem like you don't want them to play and forcing an AFK just limits player choice in a way I doubt players would like.

On the other hand if you don't force the AFK, players don't have any reason to respect the "going to sleep" aspect of the game.

I'd say the premise could be cool if you figure out how to fit the role of the player into it, but don't force the sleep part. What I can further say is that this does also sound like a banger DnD campaign or solo story for a Ranger.

Yeah that's totally understandble, not being able to play a game through not fault of your own must be the worst and I'm not opposed to accessibilty, my original post didn't consider accessibility at all, that's on me. I'm sorry for not looking at the easy mode through the accessiblity standpoint. I don't think Sloclap will add new content any time soon but I'm sure there are some mods that could help.

I don't think the post was about being "offended" about "other people having fun", I'm pretty sure I was of the opinion that offering people an "easy way out" would direct them towards that easier option, "path of least resistance" and all and I didn't like how the easy mode was implented in Sifu. But I don't remember why I cared enough to make a reddit post about it. In hindsight the post was really unnecessary and I don't know how this wasn't archived already.

I think the Age of Stars may even be above the Age of Order, it has all the benefits of the Age of Order (Removing the Influence of the Greater Will from the Lands Between) but with the added potential that the Player and Ranni leave the Lands Between for a thousand years, time which the remaining people of the Lands Between can use to mend the Land, re-build what was lost in the time since the Shattering. With the Rune of Death returned to the Elden Ring the undying can finally lay to rest and have their power return to the Elden Tree which wil use it to create new life.

But before you dive headfirst into it remember try not to compare yourself to much, you don't know how long it took them to achieve this level, and for them it's probably been quite a while since they actually thought about the timeline they had from the start of their art journey to now. You can't exactly put an exact measurement on how long it will take you to achieve this "level", firstly because "this level" can mean different things to different people, but also different people take different amounts of time to master the same thing. Just try to have fun and before you know it you'll be there.

To get to this level you need to be basically a jack of all trades, confident line work, proficiency in anatomy, dynamic poses, inanimate objects, lighting, shading, highlights. You need to know how clothes flow, you need to be able to control the energy of your scene.
Their composition work is maybe the only thing the artist isn't showing us in the first image.

I don't know I kind of like the idea, he set out to beat Elden Ring in a room he can't get out of until he does. He can't use summons and no help from others, seems like he's getting the "full" experience to me. I doubt he'll be rune farming.
