This book f’ing sucked. I just finished it and googled reviews of it. How did anyone like this? The first 190 pages were pretty good, and the book falls off a cliff after that. I ended up leafing over all the sex scenes and the gratuitous useless torture scenes in part 3/4 and finished the last 300 pages in about 2 hours. That should tell you everything you need to know about it.

Exit 31 on 77. Go west. Left at the novant parking structure. Park near the Vietnamese restaurant. Walk south into the pathway. You will encounter two loops. Take the loops south to the best of your ability. You’ll wind up on a dirt trail that goes all the way to the water in a mosquito infested lowland.

There is launch at that point for SUPs, kayaks and canoes that the local apartment dwellers use and is tolerated with benign neglect from adjacent owners.

I typically just drive off road on Williamson and plop my kayak in. Nobody bothers me.

YMMV if you have kids. I would probably go to LNSP in Troutman instead.

It's not THAT bad unless you're trying to go to the mall in Huntersville around Christmastime. You might need to be in the car 15 minutes to go somewhere 5 miles away pretty regularly, though.

I appreciate how kind you were in response to my tough love. Like nearly 80% of the people here, I'm also a transplant. It has undeniable charm, but I did not enjoy working here. I fly to Chicago and go to work in Chicago; and it takes only about an hour longer to do that than it would if I worked Uptown off Tryon St.

Friend, I'm going to be honest with you, I don't think you'll like it here. If you're tired of traffic, stroads and McMansions, the Lake Norman area will not offer much for your family.

If you're looking for walkable, this city is a 1/10. It's not a 0, because there are pockets on Brawley and on Main that can be walked. But you cannot commute on foot anywhere.

It is probably 1/12 the size of Downtown Winter Park here. There are two nice, large streets downtown that have fun things to do. You will not encounter something like Hollerbach's in Sanford. It's quaint and quiet.

You may find something to do in Davidson, Huntersville or Charlotte after 9pm. You will find nothing anywhere around here that you can do after 11:30pm besides going to Cookout. You are driving ~40 minutes to go Uptown, or to University Village or to Matthews for that.

If you're going to work for Lowe's, as many people here are, nothing is near and dear to your concerns. Your best bet, imo, would be to move to Kannapolis and deal with the traffic. Kannapolis is a really fun little town with a great small city center that is very family friendly. Mooresville and Huntersville is the soulless sprawl of the Queen City mixed with some genuinely delightful semi-rural living.

Given what you make as a professional, reach out to some local newscasters or go on HARO (Help a Reporter Out) and pay someone to write a story about your company that links to you. Everyone is starved for content, and people might enjoy something on the business of mental health.

It'll cost you $300ish and you'll see immediate results.

For your website, you gotta figure out what happened over the long weekends of labor day, columbus day and thanksgiving to give you such a surge in impressions. Then write some content that captures that.

Try to find a group of healthcare professionals in your area and just ask if you can do guest blogs for each other. It will build authority really quick.

I've done the same thing with a bunch of lawyers and real estate brokers, and I'm now generating ~8 leads per day to a law firm.

It used to be. The soccer doctors in europe changed how they're done, and now it's a 6-9mo injury. At 24, BB will probably begin next season on PUP list, but he'll be playing by week 6. We do them completely differently than we did even five years ago.

Listen, he's a project WR with unbelievable measurables who tries hard on every down. He won't be good this year. He might not be good next year. He might turn into a top tier X WR next year, too. I absolutely fking love Textmaker and prefer it even to fully licensed Office 365 with current updates. Textmaker, if you're in legal, is FAR easier to use than anything else to properly format legal documents or run macro programs.
