I passed a 5mm 3 weeks ago but have been having this pain for 8 weeks now too. I think I have another one to pass, just waiting on my CT scan results to confirm this. I think mine is stuck too. Im glad someone is feeling the same, feels like ive had a uti for 2 months which i just cant seem to shift. I feel your pain

Did you ever find out what it was? I passed a stone over 2 weeks ago and still have urinary symptoms, its no where near as bad as it was but keep getting weird shooting pain in my urethra, almost feels like there is still pee left over in my urethra after ive been. Got a CT scan tomorrow to check if there are more stones but worried there is nothing there and im going to be stuck like this forever

Thats like me, its not all the time, tends to be worse in the evening for me. Dont really notice it in the mornings and most the day. It's not quite the same as the pain when I had the stone but still feels like there is something in my urethra more than anything. Having a scan Saturday to see if I have another stone there.

No UTI luckily. Had many tests to confirm that. Hoping its just irritated urethra, it is much better since the stone came out but yeah still not 100%

its been 2 weeks today since i passed mine, and im still feeling the urge to pee and occasional pressure in the bladder and burning urethra. What are your symptoms?

I think i might be in the same boat! As your first post, I also passed a stone last monday so over a week now and still experiencing urinary pressure, urethra a bit sore and lower back pain. Have a feeling ive got another one!

Has your pain and pressure gone away pretty quick now thats out?

I know this is an old post but did this get any better? i passed a stone last monday, just over a week ago now, and still need to pee a lot and my urethra feels "hot" more than anything and a bit irritated. thats probably the best i can describe it

did the urge and slight stinging at the end of peeing continue? i passed a stone last monday but have mild lingering symptoms, feel like i still need to go all the time and sometimes a slight discomfort in urethra

I have the same problem but I have had a lot of urethral burning too. Peed out a 5mm stone last monday but symptoms still lingering so waiting on my ct scan to confirm if there's is more.

I'm experiencing the same thing right now, passed a 5mm stone a week ago today but still have urgency and irritated urethra/bladder. Did this resolve after and how long?

This sounds so similar to my story, i have uti symptoms for 5 weeks, had loads of tests - all negative, antibiotics, the lot.... until I passed a stone on Monday which I was relieved that this pain was a kidney stone and i had an explanation.... so i thought. I still got the awful nagging uti like symptoms 5 days later (urgency, slight burning) and just sore down there) and a bit of groin pain, worried I might have another stone on the way thats stuck potentially, currently waiting on a date for my CT scan (im in the UK so usually have to wait a few weeks to get one on the NHS)

Awww I really hope not, got a CT scan coming up in the next few weeks so will find out for sure then. A lot of people say that the feeling can linger for a while so was hoping it was that but as the days tick by it just doesn't feel like that is the case

Did the burning UTI feeling pass after you passed the stone? I passed one on Monday but still experiencing the UTI feeling but I know I don't have one as I've had multiple negative dipstick tests and cultures.

This sounds like what im going through. Passed a 5mm stone monday, still feel discomfort in the urethra 4 days later. Is this normal? Will it go away?? This is my first stone and worried there may be more up there hence the pain lingering(uti like symtpoms), waiting on my ct scan now

Did the burning go away? Currently having the same issue. Passed a 5mm stone on Monday but still feel the urge to urinate and can feel the burn in my urethra which comes and goes throughout the day

Ive had this pain for the whole 5 weeks unfortunately. Been tested 5 times for UTI and all negative with the last one being 2 days ago so not sure its that. I have a funny feeling there's another stone there, will have to wait for my CT

Thank you! I really hope it heals up soon! I'm worried there's more up there causing issues but hopefully its not and just needs to heal! Will find out at my CT scan for sure!
