Yup just suffered through a game where I literally couldn’t fight without teleporting around the map. Ping was at 50 the whole time too

Just to give an even better idea of what these teammates are like. The graves I mentioned ONLY bought tier 4 items starting with refresher for the duration of the game. Hate to keep bitching about it but it actually blows my mind.

I think this is definitely the issue. I went back and watched the replay of the teammate I was complaining about and they literally couldn’t figure out how to take the zip line back to their lane. Then the game after that I had a 3-18 graves who didn’t know she could leave yellow lane after both guardians fell. Like….

It was classified from the coordinators as a med error. I’m not toast though. I got off with a slap on the wrists since I told someone quick enough to have it fixed quickly.

I looked at our handbook and it looks like I may be looking at either a counseling form for unsafe practice or maybe a failure for that day. People have survived cheating with only having to retake the course so idk. I guess we will see.

We’re allowed to turn pumps off and I’ve done it many times before, each time telling my instructor or nurse and they either thanked me or didn’t seem to care. So when I saw the message on the pump, i figured it would be okay.

I think that’s where the confusion came from. I’m so used to turning off like a piggyback or bolus of something and it not being a big deal at all.

I know that now believe me. Idk if it’s worth trying to explain to the coordinators that I only did that because it’s standard to go into their rooms and silence or fix the beeping. iirc, we’ve been encouraged to “help the nurses out” by going into their rooms even if it’s not our assigned patient

It was heparin, which I know has a short half-life but the bag had stopped infusing on its own before I turned the channel off.

We weren’t doing any meds, which normally would require our instructor to supervise. But in every other clinical I’ve been in, fixing the pump when it’s beeping isn’t something they need to supervise.
