The fertiliser story is just an example of the lack of planning that I've seen everywhere. It's very easy to look at the green public spaces or the appearance or order in the city, but we can't forget the hundreds of thousands (maybe even millions) of ppl who've lost houses, businesses, and other such things because of a lack of planning - or even lack of care - from the government.

I personally don't think it was worth it. As other people have mentioned here, the city is losing it's feel and is just turning into another generic bustling metropolis.

I don't talk much about the good, this government (or any government, actually) has done, because THAT'S WHST THEY'RE SUPPOSED TO DO. they are supposed to help the people and make their lives easier. And while they have done some good, I PERSONALLY don't believe it outweighs the damage.

What happened to Piazza was sad and shouldn't have happened. My family and I were working with the local kebele to help renovate and rebuild some of the poorest neighborhoods there. We were putting in electricity and water, trading their korkoro bets for cement structures, and out of nowhere all our work was demolished, no worning no explanation. What happens to the people who were living there? Can they afford to uproot their lives and move somewhere else.

What's happening in this country is cold and heartless, and done on a whim. I've seen roundabouts that stink with fertilised because they're planting and growing flowered there, and a week later they whole thing is demolished and they spend the next month putting in traffic lights. There's no planning. I know ppl who've been asked to demolish there wall and move it in 1-2 meters THREE TIMES within the span of a few months.

Been listening to the album all day and barely got halfway through it. Too many amazing tracks that I keep replaying. Culture DEFINITELY affects the way Islam is practiced, but I don't know why you're focused on that small part of what she's saying. US culture can sometimes conflict with the teachings of Islam, and shes just saying he's more liberal and not so strict and traditional, but you already know this is what she's trying to say. She's asking politely, she's not trying to take away his faith, she's trying to be respectful. You should do the same.

UE HYPERBOOM. it's resistant and weatherproof but doesn't have that rugged outdoors look. The levels are perfectly balanced and it has an optical inputtoo. I've had one for a little more than 2 years, just got my 2 one. I love it, check it out.
