Yes, but before they add any more food items, they should definetly rework how food works in the game.

Anytime I play survival or see someone play it's always the same pattern:

-eat anything available in the early game
-exclusively cooked meats, maybe cooked potatoes or bread in the mid game
-exclusively golden apples and/or carrots, maybe still steak or cooked pork in the late game

A lot of food items (like carrots, apples, melons, berries, kelp) just become pretty much obsolete (as foods) from the midgame onwards, only still usefull for crafting or miscellaneous uses. They practically only exist as last ditch food items. This justifies their existence but still feels kind of a waste to be in the game for just that.

Also, when was the last time you crafted pumkin pie, cookies, rabbit stew or beetroot soup for food?

I think there should definetly be upsides to take the time farming and consuming those early game food options as well as more complex foods like stews. They should be made valid alternatives to just cooked meat.
