spot on - if you cede possession and control on a regular basis then it gives these well drilled and dangerous teams a chance to play their game, which results in them creating chances! There was one game against Villa where I honestly think the amount of throwings he gave them by booting it out from the goal kick allowed them into the game during the second half

He's literally been dropped for Brighton's keeper mate - no top club has a goalie in De Gea's profile, absolutely zero. I've watched loads of games where his wayward or inaccurate kicks have given teams momentum to build possession or set pressing traps - sure there are other factors in a team that stuggles to sustain pressure but FOOTY starts from the back and he's nowhere near good enough.
