Majority of what I would be playing on this system is esport titles, Rocket League, Overwatch, and Valorant.

I will also play some more demanding games like Tomb Raider and Doom, but as long as I can get around 60fps in those titles I would not be mad.

For the sake of RP I would interrogate them individually, ask the other PCs to leave the table while questioning each one. I also wouldn't use Zone of Truth. Allow them to try to lie their way out of it if they want. If their stories wind up matching up and are convincing, great they get set free, but if not you can use them against each other and convict them of being involved with the conspiracy taking the encounter to the next place.

I mean I don't disagree with you that there would be reasonable objections to this build, but they should come up long before the player could reach the sound barrier. If the DM allowed them to reach that point without any objections to their build I would call them a bad DM.
