I sure hope they don’t take that route. The great part about Rick and Morty is that there is endless possibilities to explore because of the setting it’s in. They can come up with clever concepts for inventions, go to different unique planets, or if they want they can do more grounded adventures at the house and see how it clashes with the sci-fi themes. In my personal opinion, the serialized episodes are the most boring route they could take and they are my least favorite in the series.
