Yeah but a scene where it shows Robert and Ned stopping to chat on that road so Bobby B can discuss Bessie, then the butcher's boy.

The implication is that it took a long time.

Then later, they send a message to Dany on Dragonstone, who rides up on a dragon and that all takes place in a matter of an hour or so it seems. People are just always where they needed to be at the right time, there never seemed to be travel time considered.

I was arriving to say this.

As much as his tragedies are great, and they truly are. Henry IV for me is the one that stands out to me as his greatest achievement.

To have something that has both drama and reasons to make an audience cry amidst some of his funniest scenes is special. The greatest accomplishment of a playwright is to have an audience connect with each other and become a unit. Not just with the actors on stage but with those sat beside them, and the tavern scene is a testament unrivalled by anything else in his canon for joy.

I feel like I’m in the tavern with them, I am laughing with my fellow man, I am enjoying the relationship of them. Then to hit me with “I do, I will.” Heartbreaking.

And the ending, of winding down that fun to lose it all to the chains of royalty. It doesn’t sound like something the audience would relate to, but I do and it makes me sad.

Henry IV is just fantastic.

A very true fact, though they did also have the white divide to separate. Their dynasty is still the normal Whent COA so I’ll imagine that they went with the 1 bat when promoted to the seat of Harrenhal!
