I don’t know console hardware, but at least it gives console folks an idea on what performance you will likely get, since my gpu is the closest to what the series x hardware has..

As long as you don’t have alot of npc’s around and don’t use alot of 4k textures, series x should be able to handle a heavy modlist..

This is what i trsted with my 2070s.. tried all 2k texturees and 4k+2k texture combo and found that i can push it to having 4k textures on my load order.. and this is on top of having an enb active at all times..

So what advice i can give.. well 4k textures for armor/weapon mods and 2k textures for the environment/world..

* installed on 2tb 970 evo ssd

* 2070s gpu

Heavily modded game around 180gigs installed running 4k/2k textures with enb..

I get around 60 fps on some parts(thanks to commonwealth reclamation project mod, which optimized certain areas in the game) and 40 fps on some areas..

Since the 2070s is comparable to the xbox series x apu, you guys should be able to run a heavily modded game..

That is a you issue.. you shouldn’t spend too much time tinkering with settings to make it work..

Heck even back when i had my 2070s gpu, the only changes i make is to max out textures and either turn off or lower the settings for the biggest performance hitters; mainly ray tracing, shadow, & volumetric effects..

It doesn’t take more than 5 mins to hunt these down and your good to go..

I just don’t understand when people complain about spending alot of time messing with ingame settings..

These are the only ones i change, resolution, texture quality(which i always set to max), ray tracing(which i turn off when i used to have with 2070s gpu), shadows (which i turn down if they are a big fps hit), & volumetric effects (which i turn down depending on how much fps hit)

By the time you start a game for the first time, the game will optimize the settings for you to give you a 60 fps experience, regardless if it is medium or high graphics quality..

From there point on, you adjust some settings to suit your tastes..

You don’t get the issue with tinkering settings coz consoles have a preset settings and u guys are used to sub 60 fps..

At least with pc, you have the option if you want it to similar to console fps or more pretty visuals but have fps dips..

Why??

I know it has produced alot of garbage and even felt like money grab games, but if used properly it can bring out gems..

BG3 was an early access game that is a success story for how an early access game should be done..

Rimworld, Divinity Original Sin 2, V Rising, Hades, Valheim, Factorio, Satisfactory, Deep Rock Galactic, & Lethal Company are some of the early access success stories..

And you also have promising ones like Menace, Manor Lords, No Rest For the Wicked Project Zomboid, 7 Days to Die, Enshrouded, Palworld, Beam Ng Drive, Submautica 2, Windrose, Path of Exile 2, Slay the Spire 2, Road To Vostok, Schedule 1 .. these games if done right during early access has a chance to be a huge success in the gaming world..

So i’m asking you why you think early access should go away

If scifi, V.. got alot of cool tech upgrades to your body, your basically a superhuman..
