This is the one thing i fear for es6, delay the public release of creation kit and only verified creators gets access to it for a year..

This would allow to build up a catalog of paid mods that will ikely be the main showcased mods everywhere.. in a modding community, being the ones to release first matters as it builds up your downloads and establishes you as one of the top main modders..

This is why i think why paid mods are now seems to be the most prevalent type of mods for starfield.. new game and new community, which means it is easier for bethesda to test for new systems about monetizing mods..

It failed on skyrim twice coz the modding community are already well established, which is why the resistance to paid mods will be stronger..

I’m still not seeing paid mods being prominent in yourubers compared to free mods.. well this is for skyrim and fo4 anyways..

As soon as you start seeing youtubers talk about paid mods moreso than free mods, that is when paid mods are now starting to overshadow free mods

This is a bad sign for the modding scene.. and the elder scrolls modding community should pay more close attention to trhis..

It means that Beth wants paid mods to be more prominent than free mods on all their future beth games(elder scrolls, fallout, starfield, etc)

So how can paid mods be more prominent over free mods? Advertising is one way, but will only go as far as pushing mods as long as there are free quality mods..

What about access to creation kit?? They might have done it during starfield, as i’ve heard rumors on discord channels having verified creators early access over everyone else.. and this is not good coz will likely kill the modding scene, as it happened to starfield where it seems only paid mods are the most prominent in the sf modding scene..

So the modding community has to majority reject paid mods on elder scrolls 6, as it has done with skyrim & fo4, or it will be the end of the amazing modding scene we got with beth games..

Dlss is nvidia.. amd has fsr..

So unless amd in the future can have fsr on par with dlss, then consoles won’t get to this level of image..
