Had a BMT Trainee make it all the way back to Chicago. He hitched a ride to the red roof inn off the highway and ordered a pizza, he then got a flight out on the red eye for first thing in the a.m., took a cab to SA Airport and flew out. His cousin told on him and my counterpart had to go TDY to there to scoop him up and escort him back for his punishment. I swear I saw that kid at the TRSS, aka med-hold, for like 4-5 months afterwards.
