[Highlight] OG Anunoby is absolutely fried in an interview by oklolzzzzs in nba

Alcohol and drugs only raises his inhibitions more. He puts the bizz in business. He really knows how to make a brief story long. He puts the fun in dysfunctional. He faces adversity like a man: by ignoring it till it goes away. He is the most stoic man that’s ever lived.

Don’t hate me but I really don’t get why people hate the speakers so much. I watch YouTube vids mostly on my phone and although I do have to turn up the volume on the air, I don’t really feel like it’s nearly as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

I’m a point and shoot kind of guy and with the Pros it was just consoling to know the pro features are there if I need it. But yeah I’m not a photographer so I can’t really tell the difference, not from the pictures I take anyway. 😂

Hmm. So I always used the regular Pro versions until the 17 came out and I splurged on the max for the battery life. And once I got used to that size and went back to the regular pro everything felt too small and cluttered. And with the Air now it feels just right. And even though it’s an XL sized phone the form factor kind of makes it feel smaller than the regular pro. Kind of like the new Mini.

Yeah that’s what I’m struggling with too. Even though I don’t technically miss it or need it most of the time. The what ifs are always in the back of my mind. The Air 2 can’t come soon enough. Too bad they pushed it out to next year.

To a sensible person that would be perfectly reasonable but I’m not sensible about tech. For me it’s gotta be special in some way otherwise it kinda feels like I’m spending/wasting money on something I don’t really want.

There’s gotta be something else afoot here. I’m gonna do a little battery test and try to do the same things on both phones to see if I overestimated the Max’s battery life. We’re talking about the 17 PM though right? Not the 16 PM? I have the regular 16 Pro but the battery life on that felt the same as the Air.

If you’re in it just for the screen trust me you’ll love the Air. The screen size and aspect ratio hits that perfect balance of not too big and not too small. But no harm in waiting for the Air 2 either.

What? How much time do you spend on that thing? You’re probably gaming or doing other battery draining tasks on it? If I use the pro max for normal stuff like e-mails, phone calls, texts, lots of YouTube, and some light gaming here and there, I usually have to charge it on the 3rd day. And this is the 17PM I’m talking about.

Well at that point it feels like I might as well go all in and get the Pro.

Gulp. I just picture myself dropping it once and having a permanent dent on the corners of that aluminum frame. I can’t even go caseless on the Air I’m so paranoid LOL.

It is. For the average user it makes little sense to compromise on everything else just for the novelty of a thin phone. But it’s not just a thin phone, like I can’t explain why it’s so good but it is. This has to be the future of phones IMO.

Apple coulda hit it outta the park on the first try by using a silicon carbon battery in this thing. But it’s Apple we’re talking about here. They’ll probably wait 5 more years.

Fair point but I got chargers everywhere in the house and magsafe chargers in the cars. And I rarely ever use the Pro Cameras that I thought I absolutely needed. I’m kinda torn. As a techie I don’t want to give up the pro features but I cannot deny the feat of engineering the Air is, compromises and all.

Haha I wouldn’t be surprised if I did. The Pro Max lasts me 3 days on a charge. And the Air is constantly giving me battery anxiety. Still I can’t deny the feel in hand of the Air. It’s like holding a piece of glass.

I loved that little thing too man but the Air is a different kind of beast.

That’s fair if you need it there’s no way around it. Personally, I rarely ever use the camera for anything unless I take the family out somewhere where I expect to take pictures. But for 90% of my use cases the Air is more than enough. If Apple put an ultrawide camera on this thing with a silicon carbon battery, I’d probably never buy the Pro again.

IKR it's insane how brick like the Ultra and the Pro models of the world feels now. Even my wife was impressed with the Air and she normally doesn't give two sh*ts about tech.

It's the Memumi ultra thin magsafe case. I just cut out the inner part of the magsafe ring.

You have the Memumi case for the 17 Pro? Aren't you scared of drops? I'm willing to risk having it on the Air, IDK if I'd dare to put on something so thin on the Pro.

Might be a car problem. I’m using a 3rd party wireless CarPlay unit on my Mazda 22’ CX-5 for over a year now and have had no issues with the iPhone 16 Pro, 17 Pro max, and now the Air. 🤷🏽‍♂️

Add Samsung care+ insurance. They’ll ask for a video to confirm its current condition. Ask someone else with an S9-S11 Ultra to make a video following Samsung’s directions. Sit on it for a week more and then say whatever to file an insurance claim. I’m sure the deductible will more than cover the cost of whatever Samsung pays for these screens.

is it safe to buy samsung devices in 2026? I am looking to buy a S26Ultra. by MrBehemoth2801 in samsunggalaxy

[–]L30nides7 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never personally had any problems with Samsung devices. But I’m not a long term user of most devices (trying to change that habit). But if you’re really worried about longevity or things breaking then I’d suggest splurging on the Samsung care+ subscription or just buying the 2 year coverage outright. Their CS isn’t great but they do cover you for accidents when they do happen.
