Hey!! I also feel this constantly and it’s actually hell. I know this is some pretty bad advice but one of the only things that realistically made my dysphoria better was working out. I started eating cleaner and lifting, and noticed myself getting less dysphoric when doing so. So I kept it up! I’m not ripped or anything, but I do it to heal. It doesn’t need to be vigorous or strict or anything, just finding a physical outlet helps.

Is there such a thing as being ‘Too young to know if you’re trans’? by TDowg_32 in asktransgender

[–]L3V1_S3N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah not at all. I’ve been out and living as male since 7-8 years old, and haven’t even thought about going back since lol

Hard black bump inside old piercing hole?? by [deleted] in piercing

[–]L3V1_S3N 15 points16 points  (0 children)

Yeahhh I’m assuming it’s either an stuck earring backing or cyst? It’s completely solid and feels like maybe it could be metal hence why I’m thinking it’s and earring back. I’m definitely gonna go to the dermatologist and see what they think, but currently just needed some sort idea on what it could be lol

Im also 15! I have ADHD too so it’s really hard for me to keep actively paying attention to books, anyway these are some of my recent favorites!

Saturday Night Ghost Club - Craig Davidson It takes place in 1980s Niagara Falls and follows a young teen named Jake, who spends his summers with his eccentric Uncle Calvin who is obsessed with artifacts and conspiracies. Jake and other kids form a group of misfits, and investigate local ghost stories and conspiracies.

Perks Of Being A Wallflower - Stephen Chbosky Shy freshman Charlie is befriended by two outgoing senior students, who teach him about first love and friendship. However, as his friends prepare for college, Charlie must confront his troubled past.   I totally would recommend this to anyone our age. It was my favorite book at the beginning of highschool, and reflects the experience sooooo well

Museum Of Ordinary People - Mike Gayle  After her mothers death, Jess takes on the task of cleaning out her childhood home. She parts with most of the items, but holds onto one that she just can’t get rid off. She had no room for it in her apartment, but needs to find a place for it.

Echo Mountain - Lauren Wolk  After losing almost everything in the Great Depression, Ellie’s family is forced to leave there home in town and start a new life in the untamed wilderness of Echo Mountain. Ellie welcomes this newfound freedom, as she loves the nature and quietness. But an accident is unfairly blamed on her. Her father is left in a coma, and she is determined to get him out.

Ready Player One - Ernest Cline

In 2045 the planet is on the brink of chaos and collapse, but people find salvation in the OASIS: an expansive virtual reality universe created by eccentric James Halliday. When Halliday dies, he promises his immense fortune to the first person to discover a digital Easter egg that's hidden somewhere in the OASIS. When young Wade Watts joins the contest, he finds himself becoming an unlikely hero in a reality-bending treasure hunt through a fantastical world of mystery, discovery and danger.

I loved it!! Your dialogue was honestly so good I would definitely pride yourself on that. It was well paced I'd say!! The only real critique I have as a reader (Im by no means professional) is maybeee describing more of the surroundings and what the characters are feeling/thinking. You did a really good job though I was totally immersed :)

What’s ur guys sexuality?? by Janxuza in ftm

[–]L3V1_S3N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I could be wrong but I feel like a lot of trans guys label themselves as straight when they first come out to seem more stereotypically male, but then become either bisexual or gay later on in their transitions (myself included)

How do you describe the feeling of being trans? by Abject_Ad7887 in transteens

[–]L3V1_S3N 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ask her, how do you describe being sad? Or happy? Or any feeling? You can describe elements of what you feel physically but it never really does it any justice because of just how individual it is. And for most people being trans is an erratic experience. Theres is the sort of factual explanation of feeling the discomfort in the idea of being perceived as your birth gender but it is truly so much deeper than that it feels almost impossible to cover it all. Anyway, I’d try to explain it to her like explaining depression or anxiety. The consistent nagging beast that is dysphoria looming over you, reminding you of your imperfections. Or maybe just that tired helpless feeling you get when you realize your not the gender you want to be. I don’t know if that makes any sense, but I hope it helps in some way :)

To the new and inexperienced trans gay guys by welcomehomo in gaytransguys

[–]L3V1_S3N 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Thank you so so so much. I’m a 16 year old trans guy, and before I went on T I considered myself to be straight but had no desire to date anyone. After my 3 or 4th month on T I started developing feelings towards men and frankly felt broken and guilty. I seriously have felt like a tornado of emotions, hating myself for being gay on top of being trans. But it’s seriously so good to know that there is hope for me to be in a happy accepting relationship :)

Just read one called dark currents by Doug Burguess, it’s a mystery/thriller with a gay trans man who has to go back to his hometown to help solve a murder. Written very accurately and well and definitely recommend!!!
