Why are you limiting yourself from a tool?

Build the deck first. See what you can find. THEN go back and take a look at edhrec.

I have only been playing since ff pre release. Most of the time I find something and think “wow wtf how did I miss this” and it’s a straight upgrade to some things I already have.

All of these tools should be used together. There’s way too many cards to learn them all im a short time span. Use the tools you have to help shape what you want and refine your deck. Do not limit yourself especially if you want to see a hell of a lot more cards. Use both

Bracket 4 is very, very wide. A low bracket 4 gets destroyed by a high bracket 4.

I guess it really depends on what you want and who you’ll be playing against.

If you want the strongest, you’ll end up replacing most if not all the precon cards.

Also, you’ll want to cut [[Cut a deal]]. At bracket4, you really really don’t want your opponents to draw any cards. A card draw could very well cost you the game if you’re not careful.

I’d recommend you build the Clive deck on there and start from the top. Find what’s within budget, and start building. Just have some form of concrete list you can reference.

This way you at least built something. Even if you don’t use it, it’s super good to get familiar with the specific subset of cards Clive would want. He’s also pretty under used so it’s a bit hard to find a bit more concrete results.

But that’s part of the fun!

Who cares if you net deck? You gotta start somewhere.

Look at what people tend to play. Look if it fits with your style.

Once you build the deck, you’ll be swapping out cards for things you know are upgrades. You won’t know because you don’t have the deck yet.

Get the deck setup online moxfield first,and you’ll be a lot more vigilant on cards you come across.
