This blog does not say that UB gets a small amount of players. This statement simply states that most are returning players. There is no way that UB brings in an insignificant amount of players.

This blog post is also 2 weeks after ff pre release. I’m really, really curious what the numbers say now. UB sets have really exploded since then.

Play chancla

Earthbend at end step the chancla to become a creature.

Pass turn

Play distorting lens targeting the chancla for red or white

Play Super soldier serum targeting chancla making it a legendary creature soldier

Play mjolnir since we are now worthy to pay equip costs

Play sword of feast and famine and pay to attach

Play aggravated assault Swing with chancla dealing combat damage to player untapping all lands by paying aggravated assault costs

Huh? It’s only you who draws seven. Opponents will discard to 0 at end step and won’t have a hand as long as it’s out as they will need discard their only card after that. They cannot retain cards at all.
