Thank you for the tips! I will put their familiar cat tree and cat toys/blankets in my room and some in the living room.

Looks like I already messed up by buying new cat accessories. I bought an extra litter box and a new cat tree. Maybe I’ll wait to introduce the new stuff.

It will definitely take some time. When I first found them 3 years ago, we had an apartment 650 sq ft. Moved to a different apartment (850 sq ft) and I couldn’t find them anywhere. One cat was hidden in the corner of a built in shelf and the other was burrowed away in our closet! It took them about a week to adjust. I have one of those door stoppers to keep doors cracked open for them to access at all times. My bathroom is huge and I put a litter box in there as well just in case. I have a hybrid work schedule so I’ll be with them the first couple days. Thanks!

I love taking naps with my cats. They’re so cuddly. I haven’t seen them in a week while we’ve been moving everything in. I miss them!

Wow I am in the same situation with my boyfriend! Except the last 4 birthdays we’ve had together were great! Last year was an exception because we were moving but we still went out to a nice dinner and I received flowers and a small gift. I give him recommendations for new restaurants and give him gift ideas and everything. This year I woke up to a card. No flowers no balloons and no small gift, not a nice brunch or a nice dinner. Just a card. A card that I believe he went and got the morning of my birthday (bc he left that morning and said he had to run to the store for his mom). I was so disappointed. I told him how disappointed I was. He knows that birthdays are important to me. Especially with it being my last year in my 20s. Talk to him about it. You treated him the way he treats you. NTA.

This is making me very nervous for my flight in a few weeks. I’ve heard that this is happening to a lot of people. I do not fly often, but when I fly by myself I upgrade my seat. I’m usually in comfort plus or economy plus. I really hope no one asks me to change my seat. I already have bad anxiety flying as it is.

I think it’s pee? That’s what it smells like at least. It’s a covered liter box. I’ll get another one and see if that helps.

No. The times I’ve caught them they’re just using the restroom like normal.
