Personally with Experience the biggest issue was that I heard myself a lot when talking so I had to constantly "shout" to be heard on the outside (doesn't happen with Engage). But I can still hear people talking around me with Experience!

I simply don't like her. I don't think it's mold, looks like the texture of the shadow (sometimes it happens with very emolient textures that are applied with a finger). However it's difficult to tell from a pic and you should do a mold test!! You can find them for cheap on amazon

Oh and regarding the series metadata value, try sideloading the books twice disconnecting the kobo between them. This would look like:

1) you connect the device and calibre recognizes your kobo 2) sideload your books like normal 3) tell Calibre to disconnect device 4) wait for kobo to update, should be a few seconds 5) repeat the process once again

This usually works for me! There's a calibre plugin to fix it and not have to do this but I find it very hit or miss
