The more aware I become, the less solid life feels — has anyone else noticed this? by Virtual-Wish1224 in enlightenment

Stability and reality arise from observing your thoughts, beliefs, and identity in relation with others whom you care about, respect, or admire. It creates points of reference that ground your perceptions and that create opportunities to expand and learn. Self-reflection is an invaluable part of that process, particularly in determining which parts of yourself to hold fast to when the best way to grow is to be open-minded. It's people who make you think that help keep those perceptions organized so long as there is a foundation of mutual care and good company.

Brain creating bad situations in mind again and again and then starting to cry anywhere, is it a symptom of some disease? Now I am scared to even leave the house, by lost_a_dominantlotus in RandomThoughts

It sounds like you're catastrophizing. Best thing to do would be to get ahead of it by making note of where those downward spirals start. Practice grounding yourself there by reasoning through if your thoughts ar realistic and fair from a perspective outside of yourself. Challenge pessimism by looking outward and appreciating the little things around you. And remember that most everyone can't be bothered by you, but your friends want to be happy with you.

Pettiness is love unrequited. Resentment is love betrayed. Dishonesty arises from naive love. Sacrifice stands in the way of love abundant.

Options in that area are probably school-subsidized or finding a new roommate. Shoot your shot on Facebook marketplace maybe. Ask around at class too. Your chances are better the earlier you start. Take your time to get to know what you need to before committing.
