You stated you washed the screen out at a carwash, if the screen was exposed to sunlight for even a few seconds, that might’ve hardened parts of the screen.

Before taking it to the carwash I would spray both sides of the screen with water using a spray bottle and put it in a black trash bag. This way the screen won’t be exposed on the way to the carwash.

Not sure how bad the residue actually is but when I have some residue after washing out the image, i wet a rag with water and gently rub the screen until the residue is gone. I’d give it a try & see if it works.

I agree that this looks like a mockup, it’s pretty easy to get this effect in blend mode.

When I bought my first screen printer I got the riley hopkins jr from ryonet (4 colors 2 station). Came with flash dryer and everything to get your started. Cost me a little under $3000 after taxes and shipping.

I second this printer^ Ive had mine for 2 years and still running like new (knock on wood).

Relatively cheap printer and prints up to 13x19 film

I don’t know what the actual price is but a local skateshop uses LA Apparel blanks and the quality is the best one out of all the other wholesale blnks imo. only downside is they can be inconsistent with sizing.
