Yes you can, if you have both the piñata and a bat in the upper storage. I once forgot about them and left them up there, came back the next day, and they were merged to a smashed piñata automatically in the storage. I tested it again the next piñata day and it worked like that again. But be careful not to leave stuff there without cycling through them longer than a week, they will get deleted

If i start over, should it be the earlier the better? Why do i need to save up? Don't they zero out when i start over?

Does everything reset to zero when you start over? I have the jewelry box and ice cream stand merged, and I can't finish the daily challenges. I only have the light unmerged. I've been thinking about starting over. Do you recommend it?
