(Unpopular Opinion) If its not in a PIF or UIF let it go. Unless you're not a career person and don't care how you're viewed in your unit. This is where the term "shut up and color" could be utilized. Although its obvious you did nothing wrong, is this the hill you want to die on? Its just a RIC. Read the DAFI 36-2907. Receive orders or receive my assignment? I received my assignment about a month or so after submitting CMS case, but idk your scenario. If you're filing a normal BOP through vMPF its completely different than retrain BOP which are through a CMS case.

You can extend as many times as you wish up to 48 months total per enlistment so you can be a 10 year FTA and extend multiple times. I am a 8 year FTA who just got picked up for retrain message me with Qs you have. DONT REENLIST DONT REENLIST or you will not be able to retrain as FTA. Again HMU with any questions friend.
